I've discovered something that I should've expected:

People don't know how anything works, AND:

They don't understand the explanation.

I just write off those people.

Until yesterday, plenty of people didn't know that you can change your early vote in several states.

When they learned, they INSTANTLY said it's a bad idea.

They think votes are tossed in boxes and sorted through.

Not kept in any kind of order so that they can be found quickly and easily.

By giving them MORE information, you make them MORE ignorant.

Time to write them off and move on.

I much prefer happy warriors like that voluntary American man.

The hell of it is, when you ask people what they want, they don't know.

They can't explain what would make them calm and confident.

My accidentally adopted son got himself scammed out of money he needed for his final surgery.

So I had to simply replace it.

When someone explains exactly what happened, and they KNOW they screwed up, and they take full responsibility and express self-loathing and shame, and it's never happened to them before, you bite the bullet and pay it AGAIN.

You don't berate them.
