No one in government should be aloud to unionize, all who work for the government work for the people, and do so at are pleasure.
Totally agree. Time for the EO pen.
It was a mistake by JFK in permitting the unionization of Federal employees. Even FDR was against it during his presidency.
President John F. Kennedy issued Executive Order 10988, on January 17, 1962: “Employee-Management Cooperation in the Federal Sector.”
Thx 4 info, KAG.
Good for Trump and the Nation, but unions should have no place in government.
Yeah, sure, right. I’m sure the thousands and thousands of postal and healthcare, and LE workers will agree. NOT. Some authors should have their heads examined for thinking deficiencies or brain damage.
“at are pleasure”
I worked the federal employee racket:
DoD, Census, and the V.A. also, was first level union rep.
I agree, the federal unions should be abolished.
Unions should have no place period. Their usefulness went away in the 60’s.
They shouldnt be aloud or quiet.
Just to be clear, are you saying unions are good for government employees?
at are pleasure
++++
Did you miss the use of aloud?
Is English Patrick’s first language?
The problem is not with the unions. It can be argued that the 1A gives workers the freedom to associate together. The problem is that the management-union playing field is no longer even (and hasnt been since the 1930s).
Heres the way it should work:
Union boss: Heres our list of outrageous demands.
Company owner: Get back to work or be fired.
That sort of response is no longer viable. There are too many state and federal obstacles in the way.
But can they quietly unionize?
Patrick Yoes is illiterate.
The letter (Ballot) carriers union has endorsed Joe BiteMe.
That’s worse than using loose for lose.
Even FDR said that!!!!
As an active UAW worker, i will take that one step further, the corrupt union leadership and their marxist leanings have no place in the United States.
Government unions are organized against the public. They should be illegal!
