Beyond Ridiculous! (Public Facebook page) This happened in Falls Church, Virginia on 9/20/20.
WMAL Ping List!
Isn’t the whole idea of Halloween to be scared? Isn’t this weirdo scared of a Rebel costume? I’d be more scared of a Hillary mask.
Give Karen a stuffed animal and some crayons...and a participation trophy.
white ladies with black kids are the worst for this nonsense.
We had a woman in our local FB group who swore that a bird, hanging from a string it got tangled in, was a message from the KKK.
“how do i tell my black children people want to harm them??”
Ugh.
Some people (SMH).
On a slightly unrelated note, this weekend we went to a country tractor show in Western PA. A Boy Scout troop was helping with the parking. We spotted one of the scouts, who looked to be about 10 years old, wearing a Confederate flag hat. It cracked me up a bit, but I imagine this “Karen” would have had a conniption fit.
LOL
After a century of 19A, we’re infested with Karens.
Voting Karens. Child-rearing Karens. HR Director Karens. Judge Karens. US Representative Karens. VP candidate Karen.
I wonder why there wasn’t a big centennial celebration of 19A and the Womens’ vote.
The party of “tolerance” and “acceptance” heard from again?
This is emblematic, and is exactly what the Left wants. As in Orwell’s 1984, they want people to self-regulate their “thoughtcrime”. Don’t even need to bring the state into it.
I was in Northern Maine last month for a week, and it was great-no Black Lives Matter, No Hate Here, In This House or even any Biden signs. People did or didn’t wear masks, and nobody cared.
When we drove south, we came to a city which I used to like (Belfast) and as you got close to the town, all those signs above started to appear, as did the masks and dirty looks.
My wife wanted to go shopping, but since this whole mask thing started, I don’t even want to be around people, so while she shopped, I took a folding chair and a book and set up shop in a grassy park near the waterfront, about 10 yards from a walking trail and nobody within 20 yards of me.
Reading my book, two women walked by, ten yards away on the walking path, and one of them shouted “You should be wearing a mask!”
All I could do was shake my head.
Then, when I packed up and went to where my wife had the car, I was loading my car and someone asked me (because of my Navy cap) “Are you military?” and when I turned and said yes, ex-Navy, the fat guy with his morbidly obese wife said “If you were in the military, why do you own a Japanese car?” after which she piped in.
I was so steaming mad I could barely speak for several hours.
Point is, this asinine mask BS pushed by the Left seems to have emboldened people to stick their uninvited and unwanted stinking noses into all areas of other people’s lives.
I have gotten to the point I barely want to even go out into public places. Seeing the sheep-like stupidity of my fellow Americans is disheartening and dispiriting, and having them stick their effing noses into my business really makes me want to tear into people to whom I likely wouldn’t even have given a thought to in the past.
Hey she got what she wanted. The home office called the store and told them to pull it after issuing the typical we’re so sorry ‘Karen’ we’re not horrible racist people. It won’t happen again statement.
If I had been Party Store I would have written a nicely worded, ‘get a life b*tch’ statement, but that’s just me.
With you on your sentiments, and recently had a similar experience. After being in business for five years, then closing, then opening (with masks) and then being told to close again, I was getting a haircut at a local downtown barbershop. The storefront windows were covered in butcher paper to conceal the horrible things going on inside, except for a little area left uncovered. Various plants were placed there for light. Mid cut, a woman’s face appeared in the uncovered pane, followed by an insistent rap. One of the barbers, a woman, went out to see what the deal was. “ARE YOU CUTTING HAIR IN THERE???!!! YOU CAN’T CUT HAIR! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!!!!” The barber replied, “Well, I need money to feed myself and my son, and I need to pay my rent so we have a place to live. I’ve got to get back to work now. Have a good day.” Saw the woman on her cell phone a few minutes later pacing outside the shop when I left. I feel fairly certain she was desperate to find some “official” to come down t stage a “raid” and arrest everyone in the place. Good God.
Masks help standard suburban liberals unleash their inner brownshirt.
I wonder if she was equally upset about the pregnant nun costume that they sell every year.
In a small area such as where I live, there isn’t a lot of this kind of stuff going on. Most everybody just lets the other person lead their own life, but you still seem to get a little indication that certain others are not only leading their own life, but want to assist you in leading yours, whether you want that help or not. After all the info out there on the masks, there still seem to be many that are uninitiated as to their lack of effectiveness and they seem to think their mission in life is to advise everyone else about wearing their masks. Sometimes you are greeted at the entrance to a business place by someone handing out masks to those who don’t already have one. To me this is a little like handing out preprinted ballots & being reminded to vote, even though they have already printed in who you should vote for.
I think Dr.Deth drives to the heart of it, and it is generally a key difference between Leftists and Conservatives.
Inside the heart of every Leftist is a tyrant, they want to govern the behavior of every other person. This gives them an excuse to exercise that power.
The left would applaud Little Johnnie first gay bdm outfit.
“Seeing the sheep-like stupidity of my fellow Americans is disheartening and dispiriting...”
Well indoctrinated sheeples from many decades as captive young audiences in pubic schools and colleges. As planned; see Frankfurt School (of cultural Marxism).
My fun: While in a store with all in masks (MI), I let out nice sheep bleats as I wander. Usually when alone in an aisle. Also in my car with a window down.
“Bah ah ah ah ah!”
“Bah ah ah ah ah!”
“Bah ah ah ah ah!”
“Bah ah ah ah ah!”
