Dr. Fauci Says We Might Not Be Able to Safely Sit in a (Broadway) Theater for Another Year

It might be a year or longer before we're able to safely go to theaters again, infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci told actor Jennifer Garner in a recent Instagram Live conversation.

"When are we going to be able to sit in a theater and watch our favorite performers up on stage again?" Garner asked Dr. Fauci, who replied, "I think it's going to be a combination of a vaccine that has been around for almost a year and good public health measures."

Fauci admits that there are still a lot of variables, including the strength of the vaccine. You need a "really good vaccine" and "just about everybody" to get vaccinated in order to have a "degree of immunity in the general community that I think you can walk into a theater without a mask and feel like it's comfortable that you aren't going to be at risk."

Given how long it takes to mass-produce a vaccine, even if there were one created by the end of 2020, the soonest most people could be vaccinated is fall 2021. Broadway has been dark since March 12, and its current prospective reopening date is January 3.

Sorry, I don’t trust medical testing or doctors.
In 1988 they told me the tests said I had colon cancer.
I told the doctor BS.
It’s not 32 years later and nothing has happened.
Do I trust COVID testing? NO.

Hamilton is rivaling Covid19 as the biggest incidence of mass delusion this century.

I can make this categorical statement, though: dr fauci couldn’t safely sit in my living room.

He couldn't safely walk past my house, even if he's wearing a mask and maintaining "social distance."

Very very true sir there is a paradigm in this life of risk and reward and in general the more the risk the greater the excitement and adrenaline and us the greater the reward

Broadway shows are risky investment. Like many entertainment enterprises they require a lot of cash flow to keep everything running. Not sure how keeping them closed for year is going to shake out.

I have gone 71 years without sitting in a seat in a theater on Broadway and 30 years without sitting in a seat in a movie theater. I don’t think going another year without begin able to do so will be much of a sacrifice.

There is a Twilight Zone episode where a couple are held hostage in a restaurant by a little fortune telling bobble head.

I think it was a Fauci bobble head.

Oh, the humanity! A whole year! You might as well make it 100 years as far as I'm concerned.

“Oh, Great Fauci, can we take off our masks today?”

(Takes a card from the bobble head)

“It is not recommended”

“How long must we sit in this restaurant with our masks on!”

Another couple in the restaurant pulls a card from their Fauci bobble head and the woman begins to cry.

Fade to black.

What is this vaccine crap? Flu vaccine does not eliminate the flu. Why does anyone think a COVID vaccine will eliminate COVID?

It seems to me this is just a pretext for the Democrat Dictators and Fauci bureaucrats to hold on to power as long as they can.

It will be interesting to see if the Democrats keep backing them if they want to lockdown Broadway and Hollywood indefinitely . . .
