I haven’t see Avengers

Check 'em out - wacky plots, weird characters, choreographed fight scenes at the end of almost each episode. Witty, classy and sexy. IMO, the black and white shows were better ones.

Sample.

The lovely and gracious Ms. Rigg was also a Bond Girl!!!

And the only Bond Girl to get 007 to the altar at that:-)

The 1969 On Her Majesty’s Secret Service opposite George Lazenby.

Mrs. Peel’s farewell scene. I remember that episode well.

I also remember wanting those GoGo boots she made famous. I was in 3rd grade. My dad said no. ; )

“Brings back memories...”

Doesn’t it? And we thought we had problems back then.

Good bye to one of my favorite ladies of all time.

In the 1970s I wanted to make a good “Modesty Blaise” movie with her as Modesty, and Michael Caine as Willie Garvin.

Does anyone recall her playing the sophisticated English business woman who becomes a nun in the British production of “In This House of Brede”?

"It was a great show. Very creative writing.

She and Patrick McNee were a great duo.

Brings back memories...

Sorry to see her go"

Worth repeating...

She was a very talented and sexy lady...
RIP Diana... RIP Mrs Peel...

When I click on that link, the first thing that pops up is: “Support Dems” and a Donate button!

It then goes to the video!

I backed out and tried the link over and over with the same results!

Anyone else notice this?

You better watch yourself some damn Avengers then!

The Avengers. Diana Rigg. Patrick MacNee. 60’s spy show. A whole lotta fun of the kind and style they don’t make anymore.

Here’s a funny riddle I made up about The Avengers after watching all the Emma Peel Avengers episodes. It requires some familiarity with three TV shows to fully appreciate it. So anyone under 40 might not grok it right away. Okay, here it is:

Q: If John Steed retired to The Village, where did Emma Peel retire to?

A: New Zoo Revue
