Started sending complaints to various school board officials about Coronavirus mask requirements. The kids must wear masks even while working out in PE and basketball practice. These strict rules were imposed right before the school year started, probably because parents and teachers complained. Hopefully enough people will complain and get these strict rules relaxed.
I recognize the futility of complaining in a school board with well over 10k kids, but I do it anyway. Homeschooling is definitely appealing. I have done it before for years and my oldest went all the way through to university after getting homeschooled her whole life. But homeschool is not our plan for the rest of our kids.

It seems as though a case could be made that the rules are stricter to prevent Coronavirus for young people than they are for the people who are very old who actually have a probability of death greater than 0.

They make the college kids wear masks not because they’re worried about the kids....They don’t care about the kids...they’re worried about their own sorry old a$$e$...the old profs. and administrators.
Imagine if people who got the flu and recovered, yet got counted as the flu deaths because there was some trace of the flu genome in them? Would that inflate flu numbers?
Then there’s the 1968 Hong Kong Flu. With multiple different Extrapolation based on the increased national and city populations in 2020 versus 1968, it’s overwhelmingly likely that if Hong Kong Flu happened this year, it would be worse than it was on 1968.
