The blue areas in this composite image from the Moon Mineralogy Mapper (M3) aboard the Indian Space Research Organization's Chandrayaan-1 orbiter show water concentrated at the Moon's poles. Homing in on the spectra of rocks there, researcher found signs of hematite, a form of rust. Credit: ISRO/NASA/JPL-Caltech/Brown University/USGS

We should probably send a man to the moon to find out in person.

So the moon is rusting. No need for the UN to declare an emergency, or anything like that. There is a simple and elegant solution.

They shouldn’t be surprised. Rusting is an iron law of nature.

I remember being taught, “there is no water on the moon. “
Funny how things change. Not even something as simple as the food pyramid has remained unchanged from when I went to school. Hell, when I was really young, I actually remember talk about “the coming ice age.” Then later it became “global warming,” and now finally it’s “climate change.” LOL
You would think that with all these experts and science they would have gotten something right.

Maybe it's a side effect of the nuclear waste that was deposited on the Dark side of the Moon?

"It's very puzzling," the study's lead author, Shuai Li of the University of Hawaii, said in a statement. "The moon is a terrible environment for hematite to form in." Caused by the tears of the Man on the Moon, who is deeply saddened!

I’m sure someone will eventually blame the U.S. for sending men up there and polluting the moon.
