Just sitting here pondering all of the deranged idiots in DC, and thinking perhaps there should be a move to treat hem like the military and have MANDATORY drug testing every month,, and spot checking like the good old “Fitness for Duty” checks. and if they say no to that....term limits it is!!

"I didn't sense the President was downplaying anything," says VP Pence in response to the Woodward book. VP says the Pres was giving the public the information he had about Coronavirus, but "his tone was one of projecting calm and confidence,” he told FoxNews
Pence says he was not aware Pres Trump was giving 18 interviews to Bob Woodward, but says he knows of "no more accessible" President than Trump. VP says Trump's March 19th comments to Woodward on playing down the virus threat, came 4 days after Trump shut down the economy.
Saying that foreign interference in US Elections "continues to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat" to US national security, Pres Trump is extending the "national emergency" he declared in 2018 for another year. The action permits sanctions and other Federal actions.

1) There is no such thing in America as a "free press". All media is controlled by six major corporations, Twitter/Facebook/Youtube/Instagram are censored daily of any "contrary" viewpoints, judged solely by the entity that owns the platform. These all act as the propaganda arm of one political party, and it is not the GOP. The messaging and phrasing is almost identical.
Example from today, in which ALL DEMOCRATS VOTED AGAINST a bill to provide COVID relief. Would you know that from these tweets?:

This is the biggest buried lede in the history of news.
A military general, in a conversation with an intelligence official, appeared to suggest a coup against the President if he didn’t play ball.

Mattis took an oath to defend the Constitution and obey the orders of the President.
Mattis ,though retired, is still subject to the UCMJ, which forbids speaking out against the POTUS.
This colonel, or even Mattis can point to no unconstitutional action by President Trump, therefore Trump is not a domestic enemy. Trump’s action are frequently reviewed by Federal and the Supreme Courts, and found to be lawful and Constitutional.
However, Mattis can be considered a domestic enemy by suggesting “collective action” against the President.
That is sedition, and possibly treason.
