I’d never met a president before Donald Trump. His empathy and thoughtfulness on one of the worst days of my life won my gratitude.
I was on the night we were discussing typewriter fonts. My parents had an IBM Selectra typewriter that one could alternated a ball of type (4 iirc). It was the only typewriter with multiple fonts. The font used did NOT match any of those types.
But it was HOWLIN who actually posted the thread with credits to all but emphasizing Buckhead’s comments. I’ve always thought she should have been given more credit for getting the material out. She knew who to ping and how important the information was—- Enough to take a few hidden comments on an otherwise obscure thread and make it the subject of its own.

Nancy Pelosi said she got “set up” by the owner (a very good one) of a beauty parlor. If so, how will she do in negotiations against President Xi of China, President Putin of Russia, or Kim Jong Un of North Korea. Not so well, I suspect, but far better than Joe Hiden’ would do!

Same here. Was on dialup at the time. Took forever for the comments to download. But we ALL knew we were on to something BIG.
