I had read Smerconish but hadn't heard him until I got a free XM trial and put it on a generic politics station (called POTUS). It was a CNN feed of Smerconish, but I hadn't heard his name for five minutes. The main impression that I got is that he is full of himself, and works with people who are sycophants. I don't mean the Rush Limbaugh over-the-top style self-promotion. I mean he is really full of himself.

I AM POSITIVE that the speech was pre-recorded.

Biden has been declining for years.

NOT POSSIBLE that he could pull it together for even the time frame of that speech.

That clip is 4K(4096X2160) and was shown on huge movie screens. A typical Zoom broadcast is 1280X720, so there's far less detail.

I've done a LITTLE video editing for Yahoo and a couple of other sites. Splicing together multiple takes to make a seamless appearing sequence is simple, especially when the person is standing in one place.

Using a low resolution stream hides a lot of flaws.
