Two men suspected of withdrawing over $164,000 with fraudulently-obtained unemployment benefit debit cards were arrested this month in Thousand Oaks, officials said Monday.
A resident called 911 on the afternoon of Aug. 6 when she saw two people acting suspiciously at a Bank of America ATM on 1440 N. Moorpark Rd., the Ventura County Sheriffs Office said in a news release.
Deputies responded and stopped a car just as it was leaving the area, finding two grocery bags full of cash and a large amount of Visa debit cards in different peoples names, according to the Sheriffs Office.
Investigators found that the two were using California Employment Development Department debit cards that they obtained by applying for benefits using the stolen identities of multiple victims, all of whom live outside the state, the Sheriffs Office said.
The men then used the cards to make large ATM withdrawals from multiple locations, officials added.

I sure would like to see what they used to justify the stop.
Forgot to turn on their signal when leaving the curb?
Idiots like that always end up consenting to searches, or leaving the “probable cause’ laying out on the seat...
Oh come on man. It’s California. Vehicle emission test.
Better yet. They were not wearing masks.
Thats been sent far and wide
Currently 111 degrees in Yuma.
Had to be someone on the “inside”. I am sure their security would trigger the numerous withdrawla. Sounds like the IRS sending $Millions to hundreds of people at the same address in a third world country, No one follows up.
Loving and laughing over your memes!

I don’t know. I just wanted a picture of a cat that looked like he was working on math homework.

Hmmm...funny that the photo of Bubba comes out today.
Been lurking a bunch just been super busy with work.
Nice to see you on Twitter too
Is it still happening? Hell yes! Just go here and see for yourself:
Look at what this company promises to do - spy on employees and notify their bosses when “high risk behavior” is noticed. How about posting on Free Republic, would that be high enough to trigger their alerts? As Sarah Palin would say, “You betcha!”. So basically Clearforce uses software to mine personal data on Americans. Software that was originally developed by the US government, specifically by Patrick Bergy who is in the video and who is the real deal, an honest veteran who has spent the past 5 years trying to bring attention to the commercialization of Shadownet.
Now look here and you’ll see that one of the founders of Clearforce was General James Jones, former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO. That’s who took the psychological profiling software developed with US taxpayer dollars and turned it into a commercial enterprise. What I don’t know is whether he negotiated a contract giving him permission to do so, or what. One would think he wasn’t bold enough to just flat-out steal it, and Bergy just says “we kept the intellectual property rights” which leads me to think Jones was legally permitted do do so.
But the issue is not IP theft so much as it is the weaponizatino of psyops against the American public. Because what Clearforce still does for companies is also being done against political candidates, including President Trump.
Ever wonder why the Democraps are so damn good at creating these “narratives”, like Russiagate, Trump’s a Racist, BLM, and covid lockdowns save lives? This is how. Psyops.
The video explains how, in more detail.
