You can be black AND from Jamaica. Many people are.

Even Bob Marley was half black, half white.

But she definitely ain't 'African American', and she has no part of the 'Black American experience'.

Damn, it hurts my soul to type out derp sounding terms like 'experience'.

Ha. Heels up ain’t no Bob Marley. She ain’t black(African-American) and she ain’t white-not as the terms are generally used today.

Couldn’t it be said she came from Jamaican Privilege? And her ancestors did own African Slaves. How is that somehow more acceptable than some American Plantation Owner’s progeny?
