The mafia also paid better odds on their numbers games than the state run lotteries do.

The Feral government is the largest criminal organization in this country. They will kill or otherwise destroy you without hesitation or remorse for any reason at all, or no reason at all, as suits it’s whim.
They never seem to consider that they might have made an error or their coworkers could have been mistaken. Nope. They are always right. And even the most harmless of government agencies can make your life miserable.
And when you throw corruption and actual malice into the mix you have a force that the unconnected are powerless against.

Nothing is going to change until we decide not to put up with it anymore. But I just don’t sense there’s the will to do it. Americans living comfortable lives are just not inclined to inconvenience themselves. I saw this in the Tea Party; it was hard to get “the sunshine patriots” off the couch for even an afternoon to attend rallies.
