It happened Saturday when Zamar Jones, 7, was caught in the crossfire while playing on the porch of his home on the 200 block of North Simpson Street in West Philadelphia.
Jones was rushed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he died on Monday afternoon.
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner is charging Christopher Linder with murder in connection with the shooting. Two other suspects are being sought at this time.

Defund scandal
A 7yo boy, just playing on his front porch... Rest in peace, little angel.
I do not understand the logic of living in an environment like this. When I was a child, my family moved to avoid an unsafe environment. We were not wealthy. I got “free lunch” in school at a time when that was only for poor people.
You can’t tell me people can’t move out of neighborhoods where shootings routinely happen.
So if he was killed in the cross fire, and he was killed
on the porch, does this mean they were shooting from
both sides of the porch?
Tough neighborhood.
WA R N I N G :
Playing on your front porch may be hazardous to your life!
(Welcome to the ‘new-normal’ in some parts of America)
Since none of the extremely numerous people standing around saw a thing.
Problem is, some people bring the neighborhood with them.
If you know what I mean.
Do we need to look for race? Black lives matter . . . sometimes.
This sort of thing happens more and more in Minneapolis.
Black on black.
And nary a peep out of BLM.
Here’s another source with photos that clarify this sad situation.

Mom’s fault. All she needed to do is say “Go play in the basement.”
So very sad. I cannot imagine.
Normalhood.
Primitive thug culture. Even the most violent Mexican Narco gangs and Mafia don’t shoot children.
This will not end until the culture ends.
Effing animals.
FU Larry Krasner! This Soros bought clown has gone totally soft on all crime. This is the ONE person he is charging with murder.
God, take care of this young man.
Sadly, that happens all too often. I know people in law enforcement who tell me this is common. A gang type shooting happens, there are people all around, but when the police investigate, it is very hard to find witnesses who can identify the perpetrators.
