Ha! I have the same thing here - one for on and off and volume, one for channel. I’ve gotten pretty quick, but I was off my game and heard a couple of sentences out of little Cwissy. He was all excited to report on what thought was a long and unexciting speech. Maybe he’s only eating soup these days and need a real good lysie breakfast.

Good morning. I had things to do before the rains arrive here. Hopefully theres some left. I have a dinner to cook later for my son and his girlfriend. It’s my son’s 33 birthday. He ask for a lasagna dinner. His girlfriend is making the dessert. This was decided because they think their weekly golf scramble will be cancelled due to rain.
Exciting night last night. Better than I had imagined. Hats off to the production crew and I loved the music. Remember Jackline Kennedy loved opera..and that was an on going joke between Jackie and Jack. He wasn’t so thrilled with opera. They gave to the opera company.

U.S. consumer spending rises solidly; income rebounds

U.S. consumer spending increased more than expected in July, strengthening expectations for a sharp rebound in economic growth in the third quarter, though momentum is likely to ebb as the COVID-19 pandemic lingers and fiscal stimulus dries up.
The report from the Commerce Department on Friday also showed a rise in personal income after two straight monthly declines, while monthly inflation pushed higher. The Federal Reserve on Thursday rolled out a sweeping rewrite of its mandate, putting new weight on the U.S. labor market and less on worries about too-high inflation.
Consumer spending, which accounts for more than two-thirds of U.S. economic activity, rose 1.9% last month, after jumping 6.2% in June. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast consumer spending gaining 1.5% in July.
Consumers boosted spending on goods like new motor vehicles. Spending on goods has rebounded above pre-pandemic levels. They also lifted spending on healthcare, dining out and on hotel and motel accommodation. Still, outlays on services are below February levels as consumers remain wary of exposure to the virus.

That is amazing he would say that. I certainly admire him for it. More than I do the other ones that switched course that are pretending like they were on it the whole time. I guess Beck does have some integrity!
