Kimberly K’s District is extremely gerrymandered, like most in Maryland, to get 7 of 8 Dems in Congress when the state is nowhere near 87% Dem. It would be so sweet if enough of the Dems in Cummings old district vote for Kimberly so that , added to all the Republicans whose votes usually don’t matter, she wins.
Wish I could say the same.
Still having a heat wave, should be up near 100* today, 114* in Phoenix.
President Trump, who the Dems say spends all his time playing golf, has a schedule today of such variety and importance that most people of any age could not keep up. Each meeting needs extensive preparation in advance, as well as the travel for two of them.

Dad tried them on and realized something was wrong with his smile. The dentist had the front teeth off by a tooth. They had to be made over again.
We laughed about it at the time. The dentist was so embarrassed. Needless to say the second pair was done to perfection.

Weekly unemployment number ticked up past 1 million last week
The weekly unemployment number fell below 1 million for the first time since March, two weeks ago

Filings for first-time, federal unemployment benefits rose to 1.1 million last week, the Labor Department reported Thursday.
The increase follows weeks of declining unemployment claims since the start of the coronavirus pandemic that has throttled large sectors of the U.S. and global economy.
First-time weekly claims for unemployment benefits peaked at 7 million in March, when the pandemic started but remain at historic highs.
Last week’s jobless report showed first-time claims falling below 1 million for the first time in 21 weeks.
This week’s number was higher than expected, as economists polled by Dow Jones expected initial claims to stay beneath 1 million and even fall by a few thousand.
