Jenny I knew the importance of babies crawling so I did this with him.

"You may even need to get down on the floor and crawl with them. It can make a difference as shown in this study,.."

Only problem I wasn't with him enough and he does have motor skills problems.

37m THREAD

2)

The assessment notes that Iran reimbursed the Haqqani Network after it conducted at least six attacks against US and Coalition interests in 2019.

Pentagon spokesman Army Maj. Rob Lodewick acknowledged Tehran's efforts to undermine the peace process.

3)

Tehran's "support to some elements of the Taliban has threatened to undermine the peace process in Afghanistan,” one State Dept. official said.

4)

It is a fact that the U.S. & Taliban signed a peace agreement.

While we all hope for lasting peace in Afghanistan & all int'l troops to return to home, we should not forget how #Iran's regime has constantly fueled years of instability & violence in its eastern neighbor.

NIKK..This is from the site above. Hafid Majid is a Taliban senior Shura and Military Commission Member, and oversees all suicide attacks in Afghanistan.

Sadr For the past four years, Ibrahim served as the leader of the Taliban’s Military Commission. He previously served on the Taliban’s Peshawar Military Commission and as a Defense Ministry official during the Taliban’s rule in Afghanistan.

Abdul Aziz was designated for assisting in, sponsoring, or providing financial, material, or technological support for, or financial or other services to or in support of the Taliban.

Naim Barich..As of late 2017, Barich was the Taliban shadow minister of foreign affairs and managed Taliban relations with Iran.

Abdul Rahim is the Taliban’s Shadow Governor for Helmand Province, Afghanistan, who provided a large number of Taliban fighters to attack Afghan government forces. As of early 2018, Rahim was a Taliban leader responsible for coordinating and organizing Taliban operations in Afghanistan and has ties to the IRGC.

Mohammad Daoud..As of late 2017, Daoud, the former Taliban Deputy Shadow Governor for Helmand Province Afghanistan, had been appointed the Shadow Governor for Farah Province, Afghanistan. In early 2017, Daoud was appointed as leader of the Taliban’s Quetta Military Commission.

Abdullah Samad.. As of early 2018, Samad received thousands of kilograms of explosives from the IRGC that he planned to distribute to Taliban commanders throughout Herat Province, Afghanistan. Samad visited a training camp in Birjand, Iran, where the IRGC was training Taliban fighters to attack a proposed pipeline that would run through Afghanistan. Samad promised to distribute Iranian provided funds to the fighters’ families.

Esma'il Razavi..In 2017, Razavi traveled to Farah Province, Afghanistan, where he encouraged the Taliban to conduct attacks in the border region of Afghanistan. In addition, he ordered a Taliban commander to disrupt the ongoing construction of a dam in western Afghanistan and appointed Mohammad Daoud Muzzamil, also designated today, to find two suicide bombers to assassinate someone working on behalf of the Afghan government in the southwestern provinces of Afghanistan. Razavi also promised to provide Abdul Rahim Manan, the Helmand Shadow Governor also designated today, with anti-aircraft weapons.

Mohammad Ebrahim Owhadi...In 2017, Owhadi, an IRGC-QF officer assigned to Birjand, Iran, reached an agreement with the Taliban Deputy Shadow Governor for Herat Province, Abdullah Samad Faroqui (Samad), also designated today, that the IRGC-QF would provide Samad’s forces with military and financial assistance in return for Samad’s forces attacking the Afghan government in Herat Province, Afghanistan.

7)

NIKK..part of article above..2018..Jamestown Org..Tehran’s Shia clerical regime and Afghanistan’s Sunni Taliban insurgents are unlikely to strike a long-term viable strategic alliance, but covert cooperation between the two is expected to play a role in fomenting insecurity in western and southern Afghanistan, while posing a continued threat to the U.S. and NATO military presence in the country.

The Taliban operations in western Afghanistan, however, appears to have divided the movement’s leadership. Abdul Qayum Zakir, the former top Taliban military commander, was one of the first Taliban leaders to have visited Iran to establish a covert relationship with Tehran (Jamestown, June 2015). But in a recent pamphlet attributed to him, he criticized the Farah offensive, declaring it to be an independent initiative of Mullah Manan Liwanai, the Taliban commander in neighboring Helmand province, and one that had not been approved by the movement’s leadership.

May 13,2018....“The shared backgrounds between the two countries of Iran and Afghanistan, including religion and language, have brought them together in such a way that no obstacle can undermine their close relations, especially in combatting the terrorist groups,” he said (Khaama Press, May 13).

“Qaani may have been personally involved in its reorganization,” said Alfoneh, although he added that it was midlevel Quds Force commanders who deployed the Fatemiyoun in Syria and not Qaani himself. Afghan Proxy

When the Syrian civil war erupted in 2011, the IRGC sent military advisers and deployed thousands of trained Shi’ite fighters to prop up the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. Among them was the Fatemiyoun Brigade, comprising mainly Afghans from the Shi'ite Hazara minority.

The Fatemiyoun Brigade included veterans of the Abuzar Brigade, an Afghan militia made up of Shi’a that fought on Iran’s side in the war against Iraq.

Qaani is also reported to have visited Afghanistan on several occasions at the height of the Syrian conflict.

9)

In 1987, Ghaani was appointed as the Ansar Corps Commander, which was responsible for operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In this capacity, he organized and commanded special IRGC operations in Afghanistan.

10)

Placed on the list of sanctions by the U.S. government, Ghaani has organized a vast network of smuggling in order to supply arms and funds to terrorist proxies in various countries, including Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.

Speculation about Trump and the Post Office has grown so frantic that it resembles the frenzy three years ago over allegation--from many of same people--that Trump conspired with Russia to fix the 2016 election. Deserves a closer look. https://t.co/tG9nlFeLf5— Byron York (@ByronYork) August 17, 2020

The White House
Office of the Press Secretary
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 17, 2020
REMARKS BY PRESIDENT TRUMP
BEFORE MARINE ONE DEPARTURE

South Lawn

10:17 A.M. EDT

THE PRESIDENT: Hello, everybody. So we’ll be making a pretty big journey today, stopping at a couple of wonderful states that, in one case, had some big problems, and we got that straightened out.

I just approved an emergency declaration for Iowa, who had an incredible wind storm like probably they’ve never seen before. It really did a lot of damage. So I’ve informed the governor; I’ve informed Senator Grassley and Senator Joni Ernst. So I’ve approved the declaration — emergency declaration for Iowa.

And we are heading now to a combination of different places. We may do a surprise visit. We’ll make it — I’ll say this: a surprise visit to Iowa. If we can get it in, we’re going to do that. But the very important thing is that we approved the emergency declaration for Iowa. So they’re in good shape.

They’re — they’re working as we speak. Also, FEMA is in Iowa now, full force, and helping them greatly.

Okay?

Q Mr. President, oleandrin — the potential therapy for coronavirus — is that something you’re pressing the FDA to approve?

THE PRESIDENT: I’d — you’d have to say it.

Q Oleandrin — have you heard of that as a possible therapy for coronavirus?

THE PRESIDENT: I’ve heard of it, yes. Go ahead.

Q Have you pressed the FDA to approve it?

THE PRESIDENT: No, I haven’t. I haven’t.

Q Is it something you would support?

THE PRESIDENT: Is it something that people are talking about very strongly? We’ll look at it. We’ll look it. We’re looking at a lot of different things.

I will say, the FDA has been great. They are very close — we’re very close to a vaccine, very close to a therapeutic. I’ve heard that name mentioned. We’ll find out. I can get back to you later. Okay?

Q You said you might go to Iowa today? You might go to Iowa today?

THE PRESIDENT: It’s possible. We’re trying to work it into the schedule. I want to see the people. I love the people of Iowa. They’ve been very loyal. And the big thing was getting the declaration signed, but I’ll be going very soon, and maybe today.

Steve?

Q Belarus. Are you tracking the Belarus situation?

THE PRESIDENT: Yeah, it’s terrible.

Q And Russia — are you —

THE PRESIDENT: That’s a terrible situation — Belarus. We’ll be following it very closely. We’ll be following.

Q Iranian bounties in — did you hear about Iranian bounties in Afghanistan? Bounties? Bounties —

THE PRESIDENT: Yeah?

Q — in Afghanistan from Iran, did you hear about that?

THE PRESIDENT: No, I haven’t heard about that. No.

Q (Inaudible) Brazilian students to come back to class.

THE PRESIDENT: We’re going to look at that. We’ve been asked that question. Brazilian students coming back in — we’re looking at it very closely.

Q How about a travel ban for Russia or India?

THE PRESIDENT: We’re looking at the Brazilian situation. We’ll take care of all of it.

Okay? So we’ll see you in a little while.

Yeah, Steve.

Q What is your goal this week while the Democrats are holding their convention? What’s your goal?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, we’re going to be stopping at a number of places. We’ll be working very hard. It doesn’t have to be covered, but it probably will be, you know. But we’re going to be working very hard, stopping at various states. You have a list of the states — pretty comprehensive. We’re going to be working very hard. We have to. We’re getting down to final crunch. We want to be there.

As an example, Iowa just came up. We’re doing well in Iowa. It just came up. I want to be with the people of Iowa. So we add that to the schedule.

Subject: Out of Town Pool Report #2 - Minnesota arrival and Meadows Gaggles

Air Force One was wheels down in Minneapolis at 12:02 CDT.

During the flight, the president’s chief of staff Mark Meadows came back twice and spoke on the record on the following topics:

On possible trip to Iowa today: “He wanted to go to Iowa today. Logistically, we could not make it work at the last minute.”

Stimulus negotiations: Said he had not spoken to “Pelosi and Schumer in over a week.”

He said Mnuchin made the last contact and Pelosi responded. Meadows said he had had “a number of conversations” with moderate Democrats and said they had been helpful.

“We are making progress at least in a conceptual way. But there has been no real discussions between the four negotiators”

USPS

“I know the post office really well. It’s not an issue of money. They’ve got over 10 billion cash on hand, they’ve got another line of credit.”

“The postmaster general has said he is willing to pay overtime.”

“A lot of the headlines are not indicative of what’s actually taking place at the Post office.”

“The boxes that have been pulled down, the processing machinery that was all under Megan Brennan, it had nothing to do with this postmaster General.”

On DeJoy testifying to Congress: “I don’t know that they’ve noticed the hearing at this point.”

He said 10 billion was the current offer.

On short term funding for the Post office:

“It’s not only unrealistic, it’s unnecessary.”

“This is not a funding issue as much as it is a long term reform issue.”

“This is not the first time we’ve seen delays in our postal system.”

More Stimulus:

On House potentially voting Saturday, he said if Pelosi would agree to a deal with “direct stimulus to the American people at a high number, for the post office, we would sign that.”

Said state and local funding remains the biggest sticking point. Said of Dems’ $915 billion request “you can’t justify that kind of number” and said the White House is offering $150 billion.

Said they are “willing to have a discussion on state and local” and said Post office funding is “not really a stumbling block.” Said the president is “willing to provide money for the Post office as long as it is included in some other skinny measure if we cannot agree to a larger deal.”

He later said on Stimulus that while they could support a deal that provided funding to “those that are hurting” and help to the post office, he had a “low expectation that will happen.” He predicted a “partisan bill.”

“We’re not expecting a follow up call from Speaker Pelosi unless her members encourage her to actually come back to the negotiating table.”

“The president has been fully engaged on the negotiations”

On GOP Convention:

“I think that you’re going to expect a difference in the visions for America.”

Tik Tok:

“As it relates to Tik Tok, we’re hopeful that some of the US companies that have expressed interest will be able to address the national security concerns.”

“Some of the damage in terms of data going to China has certainly been done. “

On a report of Iran bounties for Us Troops: said he wouldn’t comment on Intel, but said it was “not a surprise.”

A senior administration official also said it was possible they could see additional countries signing on to the UAE deal, but did not see it as likely.

Subject: Out of Town Pool Report #3 - Minneapolis Airport

President Trump exited Air Force One at 12:11 PM CDT.

A few hundred people were gathered behind railings on the tarmac, wearing MAGA hats and holding Trump signs. Many were not wearing masks. They cheered as he came down the steps and began to chant “four more years.”

A podium was set up for the president to make remarks with AF1 behind him.

This should be taken live, but will send some quotes from his speech.
