What happened
President just escorted from the briefing room aa few minutes in.
A secret Service agent came and whispered something in his ear when he was talking, and he had to leave.
Highly unusual.

Whatever threat presented itself, it must have been perceived as serious enough to interrupt a national press conference. The Secret Service isn’t naive to the ramifications of a decision such as this, seen by the entire country. Hopefully they clear the threat soon.

Shots fired outside the White House complex is an absolute redline. Good call by the Secret Service under extremely difficult conditions, considering the ramifications of interrupting a national press conference in front of the nation’s eyes.
Did I see that Trump has signed an EO providing for NO MAIL IN BALLOTS? I hope so.
