A cluster of junkies has turned Broadway into a shooting gallery, injecting drugs unhampered in broad daylight and then shuffling around in a zonked-out stupor, seemingly oblivious to the Midtown bustle around them, The Post has learned. If that wasnt enough, the addicts are peppering the area with used syringes, turning individual planters on 40th Street and Broadway into mini needle parks.

No bustle, no cars, no people, no shoppers...hell, even the 3 card Monte grifters have moved to where ever street money is hiding these days.
Bryant Park on the South Side of West 42nd, behind the magnificent NY Public Library has been a parking place for the homeless drunks and junkies before the restoration and renovation in the early ninties and thru the Guiliani years, when police enforced the laws, young female workers could have their lunches without fear of being harassed or robbed. Apparently not any more.
My God I weep for this nation. I saw great things but am sickened what we are giving our children. I always thought “post-America” was a myth.
