Kent Brockman has said it before and hell say it again: Democracy simply doesnt work. Its a view also embraced by the president and vice president of the University of Connecticuts Undergraduate Student Government, who spurned the students who voted for them four months ago by resigning their elected positions. Their rationale is both ludicrous and probably genuine: White people shouldnt lead. VP Alex Ose was the first to go last week, according to The Daily Campus. She cited the climate and incidents of racial injustice across the country and at the university without elaborating on whats wrong at UConn (or why she cant address the perceived problem as an elected official):

“Democracy” is mob rule, institutionalized...............
Moron snowflakes!
I agree: democracy doesn’t work. Mob rule never works. The only successful, freedom oriented form of government the world has ever had is Republicanism.
Pathetic little soy boy - buns up and kneelin’, goin’ with the feelin’.
The “whites” are doing this to themselves ... to “feel good” doncha know! They’ll soon learn there is a huge price to pay for their actions ... and no benefit to be gained. They’ll be despised even more because of their condescending attitude and cowardice ... and they should be despised.
Shouldn’t this be end of white professors? You know, the liberal type.
The name of that institution should be changed to “U Con”, because they certainly do a great job of that—convincing a white student she should step down from her position of class president because she’s white. Can we get any more ludicrous? If that is the type of “education” students receive there, they should shutter the doors and turn the campus into a botanical garden or something. Just pathetic and disgusting.
‘Democracy’ doesn’t work ANYWHERE.
What you crazy kids need is a ‘Representative Republic!’
Let’s see if the black and minority kids ‘get it’ and fix things at UConn! ;)
Stay tuned! Oh, and quit PAYING for your children to be INDOCTRINATED in Publik Skrewel and then in College! Plenty of good Christian colleges to get them into, and Trade Schools.
I think the resignations are the honest culmination of this ideology - if one believes that white people are irredeemably tainted by racism in their DNA, then they cannot lead.
wait till these aholes try to get a real job and cannot because they are Honkies.
reality will hit home real quick

I fully agree. Democracy is a nightmare, and our founders thought so too.
We’re fooling ourselves if we think this can all be turned around by a Presidency, even if Trump wins again.
He’s done a great job but he does not have dictatorial powers to change the education system nor undo 60 years of indoctrination in schools.
Turning the country around would require wresting control of the schools, grade through bachelors, raising a few generations of children to know the truth while at the same time reeducating the past 2 generations, at least.
What is more likely is a series of scattered civil wars because just like lincoln, the powers that be in the dark blue states will want it all...every state.
And the winner will decide the future.
Good grief. Yeah lets let Africans lead. It has worked wonder in all kinds of places.
If we don't get control of our education system it won't matter who gets elected.
So now the acronym is “BIPOC” instead of POC?
I need a PC dictionary.
True. Democracy is 2 wolves and 1 sheep voting on whats for dinner.
UConn, you are a bunch of morons! I’m ashamed to say I am a UConn Huskies now. I might say I’m a Pointer (the nickname of UConn - Avery Point).
Isnt Kent Brockman the news guy on The Simpsons.
Does this guy realize he was a joke from the start.
...our FINE college system at work!
