I do not know what is now allowed. Every commercial on TV as of late shows the wife driving the family car with the husband in the passenger seat.
We want to do what is proper. What societal rule am I now breaking if I drive and she is in the car?
I am not black so we are breaking the black husband-white wife order of things which is just killing us.
I even purposely screwed up a simple household chore and threw my hands up in the air the other day so my wife could give me that "Oh Setter" look and helped me fix it which help me alleviate my toxic male masculinity.
All of this new female/male order is driving us to extreme guilt. We are trying to fit in with the new gender rules.
My DVR works quite well fast forwarding thru that garbage.
K5 or S10?
I wonder what the Subaru ads show?
K5.
1979 with the typical GM cancer in the typical places.
Excellent post mocking PC.
In 33 years of marriage, my wife has maybe driven me 500 miles. Maybe a couple times to a doctor or hospital and the rest on long vacation drives.
Once on a 18 hour drive, I started to get tired. When I woke up, I said “ready for me to drive” and she told me I only slept for a half hour.
The Hyundais since 2013 have been remarkable examples of upgraded tech and quality as would be compared to their models before 2007. Actually you saw quality upgrades around 2008 with better metal and fit, engines, and transmissions. But 2012-13 was the real change and the cars themselves became sleek looking with many luxury features that became standard. All their auto trannies sported at least 6 gears with a hybrid manual feature that let you apply torque when you need it. Am I a fan boy...yup! Never had a Hyundai do me wrong in 12 years!
So give me an old beat up Elantra from 2013...I’ll bet she still runs great!
Cleverly done!
Excellent. Sadly too many FReepers missed the /sarc in your post.
Would never give up either. Heck, the wifes car is 15 years old, still awesome, and one of her key purchasing requirements was that the car have heated seats!
If you visit Target, you will be confronted with advertising posters featuring mixed race couples. Most advertising I see when watching videos on Roku feature black couples EVERYWHERE. I usually only see white couples in ads for retirement age folks. Pets, however, are still allowed to be any color.
Thumbs up to the backup camera and lights on the side mirrors that alert traffic in the blind spots
just leave your wife and marry a man, and you’ll be ok with either of your driving ;)
Put on your burka and submit.
For the last year or so every time I check my bank balance there has been a Black couple as a back ground. I mean every single time.
/facepalm
For real?
Sure u can drive under her supervision. ( nothing has really changed)
Just shut up and look pretty. /s
A buddy just replaced an Audi Q7 with a Hyundai Palisade. He loves it. I havent driven it, but Ive checked it out fairly well. Quite impressive.
