Harrowing surveillance footage captured the moment a man was fatally shot while crossing a Bronx street — hand-in-hand with his 6-year-old daughter.
The clip, tweeted by Rodney Harrison, the NYPD’s chief of detectives, opens with Anthony Robinson approaching the intersection of Sheridan Avenue and East 170th Street in Mount Eden around 5:50 p.m. Sunday.
Clasping his young daughter’s left hand in his right, Robinson, 29, stops at a crosswalk to eye a dark sedan slowing next to them, appearing to check whether the driver was turning into their path.
But the driver continues to roll along next to father and daughter as they cross Sheridan Avenue, the video shows.
Nearly out of the crosswalk, Robinson turns as though to say something to his daughter — leaving his back to the sedan. The shooter then sticks a handgun out of the passenger’s window and opens fire, striking Robinson in the chest.
As Robinson crumples to the pavement, his terrified daughter takes off running down Sheridan Avenue, apparently unharmed, the footage shows.

I had some lady say I was a dumbass to her husband because I accidentally casted over her line of which I immediately apologized even before she made the comment. I was thinking this lady better think twice before she mouths off again. Especially since we were on a breakwater and it would be fairly easy to shove someone over the edge.

I’m just taking a guess reading the images but I think the man saw the car, knew what was coming, turned to shield the child and told her to run.

I’ve got an Italian friend with a temper. And for years he was in that “teach them a lesson” mode. Lucky he never got hurt, or hurt anyone. But I must say that I was involved in some pretty wild chases with him.
Then one day he woke up to all the dangers in doing that. So now when someone cuts him off, etc. he just makes the sign of the cross in their direction. He says it really calms him down, and puts things in perspective.
I’m might go with that technique as well. Perhaps you should mention it to your wife. (Good luck.)

If the murders of innocent people can break new records NYC voters will reward the NYC Demonicrat politicians by relecting them in November.

I hate the term “The new normal” but if these fools are successful at defunding our police then this is the new normal.

Trump should make weekly speeches about these murders especially about the children and call out the Antifa and BLM for not protesting them and the mayors and governors for hamstringing law enforcement to prevent the apprehension of the murderers.

I think that the guy on the bike who beat it quick might have warned her to run. But I don’t know.
Hopefully they picked that car up on other security cameras in the area.
From the video, I could see nothing to indicate this. He walks across the intersection. Turns slightly away from the car as he gets to the other side. He doesn’t flinch, try to run, or shield his daughter at all. It doesn’t even look like he knew anyone had pointed a gun at him. The girl runs as the dad falls.
Generational knowledge is at the heart of “racism.” That little girl has now been passed along to the next generation of violence.
I don’t believe that “all lives matters” is a racist concept but i am having a hard time believing that all lives matter.
I’m guessing this was not random.
In reality very few “random” shootings are random. It is like “peaceful protesters”. When one is destroying another’s property or beating said property owners brains out, one is a criminal, not a “protester”.
