Friends of Ghislaine Maxwell are worried the disgraced socialite could get whacked in prison or die by suicide like her predator ex-lover and boss, Jeffrey Epstein.
“I’m absolutely worried for her safety,” said Christopher Mason, a TV host and journalist who has known Maxwell since the 1980s. “Do I think [she’s] in danger? Yes.”
Mason, who is appearing in the new docu-series “Surviving Jeffrey Epstein” in August on Lifetime, added that the threat to Maxwell — now headed to the same Manhattan lock-up where Epstein died last August — could be greater because of reports she might cooperate with authorities.
“The authorities are open to the possibility of some cooperation,” Mason said.
“In a way, I can’t imagine her ever giving up Prince Andrew, but if it’s life imprisonment with no hope of parole, it might be tempting. She of all of those people knew who slept with whom and [which young girl] was assigned to whom.”

Permit me to add another question to your excellent list. What in the world was Ghislaine Maxwell doing in the United States? The US is perhaps the only country in the world that would bother to arrest her.
Maxwell is a millionaire. She has the resources to go anywhere, and hide anywhere. Yet she chose to live in New Hampshire.
It makes zero sense.

The Medical Examiner made a finding of suicide.
The autopsy expert financed by the family to free the life insurance money by overturning the finding came up with every thing he could to cast doubt, but never directly claimed the Medical Examiner was wrong because he couldn’t.
The county in charge of the investigation ignored him since he had nothing concrete.
He just worked around the edges, claiming a couple of things (neck wound and broken hyoid bones) ‘could’ indicate homicide.
His “findings” were found and noted by the Medical Examiner. The “challenge that wasn’t a challenge” wasn’t nearly enough to trigger a homicide investigation.
All that’s left is a conspiracy claim that would require a lot of people involved who will have to keep the secret for the rest of their lives. Weak.
He should get together with OJ, who is an expert at finding “real killers”.

If she was worried why would she go back to America where she would get arrested? Just stay in France or whatever country she was working for (if her and Jeffery were really working for foreign intelligence)
My guess is she made a deal with FBI to turn herself in and rat on some people to get charges dropped but I wouldn’t put it past the Deep State to have her claim Trump went to the island and when Biden wins she gets a full pardon.

I would liken this to the reporter who goes into a civil war expecting that because he isn’t part of the conflict that he will be respected by both sides. She had a huge ego and expected that she didn’t need to hide beyond buying the property, apparently in “secret;” whatever that means.
Also, probably having videos of many influential people, she expected protection. What she didn’t take into account is that the people she has a grip on are no longer in the first ranks of power. She can’t call up Bill’s private number and make things happen any longer. Probably Bill can’t call anyone in government and make things happen now, either. His last hurrah was the tarmac meeting with the then DOJ to arrange things for Hillary.
I had an uncle who continued operating on the edge of the law long after his little black phonebook numbers had all been disconnected. I think he was truly nonplused when he got taken down by the very offices that, in that in prior years, would have protected him.
