The end of an era.
The first commercial Boeing 747s came out in early 1970. It was a huge plane.
I saw my first one in July,1970 at JFK.
I was getting ready to board a Pan-Am charter jet to Europe on a 707.
Parked next to it was a brand new 747.
It didn’t seem possible a plane could be that big.
Made mine look like a toy.
Now, there are planes that are more cost efficient.
Then again, that WAS 50 years ago.
And, in all that time, I never flew on one.

ORLANDO, Fla. - A person who died in a motorcycle accident was added to Florida’s COVID-19 death count, according to a state health official.
FOX 35 News found this out after asking Orange County Health Officer Dr. Raul Pino whether two coronavirus victims who were in their 20s had any underlying conditions. One of his answers surprised us.
“The first one didn’t have any. He died in a motorcycle accident,” Pino said.
Dr. Pino was asked if the man’s data was removed.
“I don’t think so. I have to double-check,” Pino said. “We were arguing, discussing, or trying to argue with the state. Not because of the numbers — it’s 100…it doesn’t make any difference if it’s 99 — but the fact that the individual didn’t die from COVID-19…died in the crash. But you could actually argue that it could have been the COVID-19 that caused him to crash. I don’t know the conclusion of that one.”
There are still two people in their 20s on Orange County’s data list for coronavirus deaths.

In April 2003, when his relationship with fiancee Toyami Als went south, Bowman initiated legal proceedings in Brooklyn Civil Court to compel her to return a $5,800 engagement ring.
RBG needs to retire.
She is 87.
I want to know what treatment she is getting to keep her alive.
She probably has a different cancer, that has metastasized to her liver.
She has had colon,pancreatic and lung cancers and lived to tell about them.
Any other 87 year old would be sent to hospice.
Her saying she is capable is not enough.,
There needs to be an independent assessment.

Got MRI done. They did pictures of complete head this time and my neck area (because of balance issue) and the pituitary. Was in the “tank” for over an hour Actually fell asleep even with the constant hammering. The technician is the daughter of one of sons old girl friends. Again surrounded by HIS love Am so fortunate to be living in this loving community.
Sirens are going off everywhere. Prayers for whosever is involved. Four police vehicles just flew by plus whatever went before them. Mercy!
