Wow, they are so nice. Made my day.

I also have sunlight issues. Some plants I have to move twice in a day.

The monsoon season that we usually have by now is in hiding.

The 10 day forecast says that we could start getting rain by middle of next week but.....

I’ll believe it when I feel the rain on my face.

My advise from a right-brained buying view...DO not waste time updating your house. NO counter tops/flooring/painting...landscaping perhaps. I hate most people's flooring!! Period. I also hate most people's counter-top choices. I also hate most people's paint colors. People as they go into a home its mostly a feeling and how the house is laid out. Only a few people are very into a house--as is. They go home and say..well I'll need to change this..and that..and perhaps that...the list tends to grow longer and longer and they see this as is..house isn't. My two cents.

You are so ahead of me. You'll figure it out. I moved the English Ivy even through it looked ok. But in one day the leaves are standing up. I thought they would flow down. Apparently it wasn't happy where it was. Thanks again for inspiring me.

STAFF WRITER AND OPINION EDITOR BARI WEISS HAS RESIGNED FROM HER ROLE AT THE NEW YORK TIMES CITING THE CULTURE OF CENSORING BOTH CENTRIST AND CONSERVATIVE OPINIONS WHILST CLAIMING SHE FACED “UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION” AND A “HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT.”

In a powerful resignation letter posted to her website, Weiss gave a remarkable insight into internal New York Times communications – including a staff-only Slack channel wherein Weiss claims her name was placed next to axe emojis. She also cited evidence of institutional-level anti-Semitism at the paper, and Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Dear A.G.,

It is with sadness that I write to tell you that I am resigning from The New York Times.

I joined the paper with gratitude and optimism three years ago. I was hired with the goal of bringing in voices that would not otherwise appear in your pages: first-time writers, centrists, conservatives and others who would not naturally think of The Times as their home. The reason for this effort was clear: The paper’s failure to anticipate the outcome of the 2016 election meant that it didn’t have a firm grasp of the country it covers. Dean Baquet and others have admitted as much on various occasions. The priority in Opinion was to help redress that critical shortcoming.

I was honored to be part of that effort, led by James Bennet. I am proud of my work as a writer and as an editor. Among those I helped bring to our pages: the Venezuelan dissident Wuilly Arteaga; the Iranian chess champion Dorsa Derakhshani; and the Hong Kong Christian democrat Derek Lam. Also: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Masih Alinejad, Zaina Arafat, Elna Baker, Rachael Denhollander, Matti Friedman, Nick Gillespie, Heather Heying, Randall Kennedy, Julius Krein, Monica Lewinsky, Glenn Loury, Jesse Singal, Ali Soufan, Chloe Valdary, Thomas Chatterton Williams, Wesley Yang, and many others.

..........part of the article.

RE: Public schools

The school closings let parents know they can teach their children themselves. Hopefully most will home-school with a Christian or non PC curriculum.

Ivanka Trump

More than ever our #PledgetoAmericasWorkers is focused on helping Americans Flag of United States bolster skills to find new jobs + navigate career transitions.

Today we are launching the #FindSomethingNew ad campaign!

Raheem Kassam

(TheNatPulse -WarRoomPandemic)

Americans elected realDonaldTrump to BRING THEIR JOBS BACK.

Now Ivanka is basically telling them to “LeArN tO cOde”...

**********************************Good COMMENTS

If CA or MI refuse to leet businesse reopens, I think it is wise to push those who wish to work to look for new employment.

Fire Fire Javanka

Raheem mate, this is abit unfair, they are literally trying to help jobless people get jobs, pretty sure that’s also what he was elected to do? And promoting the idea that you DO NOT need to go to colleague to get a job / be successful...which surely you should support considering you know how universities teach so many useless leftist degrees?

Okay, but both can be valid and true. Individuals have individual needs. Trying to make a career transition is very difficult. Those who want to make that move will benefit from any help they can get.

It is both.

There is a lot of demand for high paying IT jobs. There are many programs for non CS grads to get trained on IT related skills.

I think it is a good thing.

Actually I see this differently. The majority of people generally hate their careers, bosses, companies whatever. They're saying now may be a good time to make a change, and this really could be a unique time to do this. As someone who did this 2 years ago, I'm much happier.

I agree. For some, this has been just the motivation they needed to make a change. People are innovating, rethinking their life goals, and like me, even starting their own businesses. Not everyone benefits from losing a job. But for many, rock bottom can be a launching pad.

Survival is patriotic now!

I didn't vote for #Javanka

Oh, the horror of making yourself more marketable as a person! Never too late to learn something new.

Coding is fun though...

good she looking forward realistically.

Adapt or get left behind.

I think she’s trying to make a point that you don’t have to go to a four year college. We need skilled workers. I fully support this idea.

Well, that was before Covid. I have many hair clients in NY who are still not back to work, because their company doesn’t want them back. They may need to find something else.

Yes. Coz what's better than having good well paying healthy jobs like working in a coalmine that's been shuttered for decades?

I don't get your issue with this. Isn't the goal diversity of jobs rather than all white collar?

Don’t be silly. He obviously did not mean those exact jobs that were exported overseas. Time has passed, innovation has continued. Many of those jobs no longer exist. Creating new jobs and adapting to new jobs is a much more logical interpretation of what Trump said.

https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/fox-35-investigates-hospitals-confirm-mistakes-in-floridas-covid-19-report

“ORLANDO, Fla. - The Florida Department of Health released its daily coronavirus testing report showing a statewide positivity rate of 11 percent, but FOX 35 News investigated and quickly noticed some shocking positivity rates.

Countless labs have reported a 100 percent positivity rate, which means every single person tested was positive. Other labs had very high positivity rates. FOX 35 found that testing sites like Centra Care reported that 83 people were tested and all tested positive. Then, NCF Diagnostics in Alachua reported 88 percent of tests were positive.

How could that be? FOX 35 News investigated these astronomical numbers, contacting every local location mentioned in the report.

The report showed that Orlando Health had a 98 percent positivity rate. However, when FOX 35 News contacted the hospital, they confirmed errors in the report. Orlando Health’s positivity rate is only 9.4 percent, not 98 percent as in the report.

MORE NEWS: What the record-shattering number of positive COVID-19 tests in Florida really means

The report also showed that the Orlando Veteran’s Medical Center had a positivity rate of 76 percent. A spokesperson for the VA told FOX 35 News on Tuesday that this does not reflect their numbers and that the positivity rate for the center is actually 6 percent.
