Thanks..but I can't dust anything or have a yard company here to spray. I can't be around rust. Thanks..I'll trying to plant another plant instead. But I need to cut down this thick vine to the ground now and replace it. My Oak Leaf Hydrangea is much more important to me. I about have the job done.

Thank you for posting this LG! I've been caught up with a needy old cat this morning. Good ruling!! I just can't go back and read to catch up. So if I re-post something that has already been posted...I'm sorry.

Oh my god! NYT finally publishes an article questioning why public health "experts" reversed course overnight and started advocating mass gatherings when they happened to agree with the political cause. I hope NYT journalists aren't "endangered" by this...

The antics of these public health "experts," along with elected officials and journalists, destroyed their credibility to issue neutral guidances or policies re: the virus. And you wonder why people aren't listening any more? You wonder why cases are spiking almost everywhere?

What do you think happens when people see huge mass gatherings in their area -- carried out with the full backing of medical/corporate/government/media elites? You think they're going to say to themselves, "Ho hum, I guess I ought to keep staying inside and not do anything fun"

They must have realized that this was too blatant even for hardcore partisans. My mother is a dyed-in-the-wool Dem, and even she was calling bullshit on this gaslighting. "Well, were they lying to us about Covid *then*, or are they lying to us *now*?

  "Is the byline Captain Obvious?

The coverage on hospice and people dying over Zoom is why I get so pissed when people say "The protests against the lockdown was about a haircut."

Bet you 5 bucks they present valid medical arguments why anti mask protests where people intentionally cough in each others faces for the memes are, in fact, BAD, actually. Their "political cause" is literally being pro-spreading-virus, seems significant for this conversation

It is refreshing to know that the lefties on the SC haven’t totally lost their way, isn’t it?
After all, electors could go either way if allowed to but the left sometimes doesn’t realize that.
But now we don’t have to worry about that or do we?

On the eve of Independence Day, our 45th president proclaimed the truths on which our country was founded. He reminded listeners that our Founders launched not only a revolution in government, but a revolution in the pursuit of justice, equality, liberty, and prosperity by enshrining the divine truth that changed the world forever when they said:
all men are created equal.
****************************
Then, to the horror of the leftists who seek to destroy this country, Trump continued: Our founders boldly declared that we are all endowed with the same divine rights given [to] us by our Creator in Heaven. And that which God has given us, we will allow no one, ever, to take away ever.
***********************
Today, we pay tribute to the exceptional lives and extraordinary legacies of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt, Trump began. The cheers followed. In another year and under another president, the entire nation would have rallied along.
************************
NIKK..a GREAT WRITTEN ARTICLE.
*******************
NIKK..I always hold my breathe every time the news comes out that the SC has ruled..

    I love it too.
What you are smelling is the Creosote Bush.
Creosote Bush
One doesn’t have to look far to see a wonder of the plant world in Joshua Tree National Park. Known scientifically as Larrea tridentata, and in common parlance as the creosote bush, it produces small, pretty yellow flowers in spring and summer. But it is the pleasantly pungent smell, which the leaves produce as soon as a summer rain starts, that is most noticeable.
The creosote bush is the signature plant of the southern part of the park and a common, characteristic, and often dominant shrub of the deserts of southwestern North America. Its closest relative lives in the arid regions of Argentina.
