The National Weather Force dust forecast model clearly shows the deep Saharan dust field coming into the Caribbean and moving through the Eastern half of the USA over the next 7 days.

Cute. Seems it’s all going south along the Texas/Loosianna area; unfortunately I’m flying out of Orlando and Atlanta coming up. I’m in Denver right now waiting on a jump home until Thursday when I’m back out again.
Where I live, it would be shrugged-off as just another summer dust storm.
When are we never NOT F**CKED ?
I read that line somewhere a week or two ago and just thought I’d toss it in here for a smile but I have to say so far this year is the most bizarre one in my 63 year old life. I didn’t live through the depression or the world wars so I won’t try to compare them but yeah nothing since I was born has been like this year and we’re just about half way through.
A nice change from the smoke that AZ has been sending us.
If it’s a dust storm covering half the United States, wouldn’t it be a United States dust storm?
Isn’t it appropriation calling it a Saharan dust storm?
