God bless America, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Yes!!! SAY it loud and proud. Edu cate the morons.
Amen! Lets celebrate the Republican victory over the racist Democrats
How many blacks and whites never heard of this date?
I don’t understand the lack of coverage on the NEWS????? saying the republicans pushed this and the democrats resisted. Maybe it will be on the news tonight.
And that is true but the vast majority celebrating it today don’t want justice for all, they want the country divided, they are not under God and forgive me if this American of Italian descent does not celebrate the occasion.
Especially when these same people are destroying Columbus statues across the country.
The good guys won
Never even heard of “juneteenth” until the insipid BLM/Press started making it their priority to treat the black race as a golden calf.
I’m not going to apologize for calling the movement Satanic.
Never heard of it till now.
I never heard of it until the latest brouhaha,
It’s amazing how the father of all lies has painted our Republican party as the racists these days. But as the old saying goes, the bigger the lie the easier it is to get ignorant people to believe it.
June 19 is not the day that the emancipation proclamation was issued but rather the day it was read publicly in Texas. It seems like the day the proclamation was issued would be a better choice of holiday but I guess thats out since it was January 1.
The first time I ever heard of it was when Biden said Trump was having his rally on Juneteenth and I thought he left off the number of the day of the month because he is senile.
“How many blacks and whites never heard of this date?”

Virtually none...until a few weeks ago. Obama never once commemorated this “Holiday” during his presidency as far as I know.
Actually, Africans were held in bondage in the US until the 1920’s at least. Seminole Indians in FL owned slaves. When the Emancipation Proclamation came down, they decided that was only for the white man’s slaves and held on to theirs. A friend of mine found a newspaper article from 1923 that talks about a slave who was still being held in bondage at that time.
I was Dallas in 2000 and saw signs talking about it.
Juneteenth is the day the Republicans were able to free all the slaves.
