When I’ve been “mask-shamed” of late, I look them in the eye and ask, “how does it help keep the virus out of your eyes? you know you can get it just as easily through your eyes as nose, right?” ... and they are left totally dumbfounded; I don’t press them for an answer they can’t give and never even thought about. WWG1WGA :)
I’m going to ask them, “How many black lives were saved by your mask?”
When they answer that is not the reason for the mask, I will ask them, “SO, Black Lives DON’T Matter to you?”
Pivoting from mask shaming to BLM shaming.
I have been out exactly 2 times since Xmas-to visit my Dr. That’s my choice, and usual behavior. Hubby has been out to various stores, and reports that most people are not wearing masks in our neck of the woods.
So far our county has only had 14 cases, and only one of those was from our zip code. There’s only been 1 hospitalization/death—a young 20 yr. old with pre existing health issues. We currently have just 1 active case.
Don’t think anyone is going to be mask shaming anyone. Although, I am going to have to go to the dentist soon—that should be interesting.
Lol! As a nurse, I’ve been saying that for weeks! People are such sheep!
