The youtube of George Floyd dropping a baggie while he is arrested is consistent with the coroner's report that he his blood had fentanyl and methamphetamines. As well, its consistent with reports of his erratic behavior.

I’m with you, the man was probably no saint, but what happened to him was unconscionable. I think of my son, he was no saint either, and had a few run ins with the law, thank God nothing really bad ever happened. (son has since grown up and is a Christian pastor).

But the media was not mentioning his size or reporting that Floyd was removed from a squad car because he was acting up under the influence of drugs and also later was discovered to have COVID 19. Which suggests his physical condition may have led to his death which the media turned into a murder change and a charge of serious abuse by police because of police efforts that were tried to get him who under control. The results of politically induced miss reporting incidents where blacks have resisted legitimate arrest began to be used earlier during and after the post Zimmmerman trial, then on to the Ferguson episode. Obama’s abuse of the “Bully Pulpit” which seemed to promote resistance to legitimate arrest led to black gangs attacking non blacks found innocently traversing black neighborhoods and to a score of murders or life changing injuries and later attacks of theft and vandalism on local businesses as well as attacks and murders of police officers during that period

I’ll give you a little hint; because they struggle and fight with the police instead of dealing with it in court like civilized people.
George Floyd could have had a history of mass murder, but the job of law enforcement is to bring criminals to justice, not to ensure just in the streets! When I was tasked to go out and arrest a Sailor/Marine under the UCMJ, he/she still has human rights under that same UCMJ. I had to arrest a Marine out 29 Stumps California who we found out was on a 3 day bender up near the Salton Sea. It was myself and 5 other Sailors/Marines in Combo Team.
Well at 6’7 and nearly 300lbs of solid muscle, our task was not easy given he was butt naked and stoned out of his mind, when we finally caught up with him after some civs called the local police and we told them we would handle it as we were already at the station. I know I got flung 3 times, but never did anyone reach for their weapons or did anyone go for his neck it took all of us gang tackling him to get him in shackles.
Moral in all this is that the neck is an organ that supplies a pathway for O2 that the body needs.
