I watch Tucker Carlson almost every night and I think I get an intelligent and balanced perspective on events. However, recently Tucker is giving a very insightful and powerful view of the news, but it is almost unbearable to watch. I feel that the US has toppled to the forces of anarchy. Tucker is warning us but it almost seems too late with all the events that have taken place.
I know this is wrong -- America is still strong and the mayhem on the streets are not reflective of the whole nation. However, by watching Tucker I end up depressed in a way that I can't easily shrug off. He is right to warn us and gives us valid reasons with many powerful visuals. I am just wondering if this depressive effect is also experienced by other viewers. And if so, what do you do about it aside from not watching?
As an indication of how powerful his broadcasts are, the clips are now showing up regularly on RealClearPolitics.
No one said that it was going to happen overnight! The changes can already be seen in the judicial level, where we are now winning most of the cases. It took 8 years to win our independence, it doesn’t come easily or quickly.
Rather than being depressive, Tucker Carlson’s dialogues have meaning and give viewers insight to present day politics and ideologies, i.e., Progressive Marxist Socialists, Democrats, #BLM and #Antifa.
His Op-Ed on cults was outstanding.....
Keep in mind what you actually see around you with thine own "lying eyes". I see nothing different in my area and folks are what they've always been. The humans will be humans. It's a constant.
The dark only seems omnipresent 'cause it's what you're being "shown" and it sells airtime. We're seeking it out online to see "what's going on". When I goto the store I see cautious-and-courteous masked and non-masked people of all colors going about their lives. BLM-and-Guv-Cooper-be-damned. d;^)
There’s a time to turn Tucker off IMO. He’s speaking truth and it’s powerful, but it’s truth lacking any sense of hope. Instinctively, I think we know what Tucker is saying is true and must be stated out loud. But the alarmism adds a layer of anxiety to the existing tension. Not Tucker’s fault, but at times I need to just flip the channel
I don’t see that at all.
You are wrong, wrong, wrong. Care to discuss?
Undoubtedly.
We Trumpers now have the benefit of hindsight. The last four years has been total BS, and I'm not going to tolerate four more years of the same.
Our form of government is based upon (among other things) the peaceful transfer of power. If the Left isn't willing or capable of acknowledging their defeat, they aren't fit to participate.
If they cannot refrain from engaging in lawfare, then the law doesn't work.
Exactly right!
The real threat is voter fraud.

I only care of voter fraud because of POTUS, because frankly the R’s are doing their best cowardly act right now. Not saying anything about violent protestors or supporting good cops. ZILCH.
They instead are working on something for some sort police reform.
True and we are at an all time gas lighting going on with nothing but media reporting on social media and celebrities who are are in their cult. We are to think the filth on social media is a representative of all of our society it’s all gas lighting to depress us and make us silent out of fear.
I think he definitely was over the top in the early days of Covid. I thought and said so at the time. But I think he is right about what is going on here.
BACK AWAY FROM THE EDGE.
The total number of Protesters, Rioters, Anarchists, Looters, on TV and in the BLUE, Democrat cities, is likely between 500,000 to million knuckleheads. Thats it.
The OVERWHELMING majority of Americans are repulsed by what they see. Their voices will be heard in November.

Yes but look at all the companies sending BLM emails showing suport?
What of all the people harrassed into apolgizing or fired for their opinions ...not even anything vile, just an opposing opinion.
It’s not just some violent thugs in the street in blue cities. Those 500K to one million have the rest of the world by their balls.
On every single thread you are spouting the same bullshit “Trump is not going to win” “I know people who voted for him in 2016 but will not this time” “His base isn’t as strong as it was in 2016”
Trump won by a razor thin margin across a handful of counties in 2016. Its not easily repeatable. I know many people who voted for him once but wont do so again. The zeitgeist that existed in 2016 has already given way to an atmosphere that favors the left. Id rather face the stark reality that were most likely going to lose, than to pump myself up on happy horse shit and have to face it all at once on election night.
It would be easier to look at a list of those that haven’t bowed down and capitulated yet. YET! Disgusted.
It’s hard to do; but I follow Rush’s advice from time to time - just turn it all off for a week - and as he advises, your mood and your perspective will improve dramatically.
So I do. Including Rush.
When I do, it is almost unbearable for the first day or two; but forcing yourself to do something else, be outside, stream and binge watch a tv series, keep the radio off or tuned to a Sirius satellite classic rock channel to avoid news; make sure you internet browser is not defaulted to msn.com or yahoo.com or some other site that has news stories pop up; but instead (as much as a hate to say it); but default to the relatively blank screen of Google if you absolutely must surf the net; turn off all of your notifications on your cell phone.
It is *not* easy to disconnect and live like it was 1976; but it is necessary for your mental health from time to time.
Fear is main product provided by left-wing media. Don’t buy it.
If you would like to have upbeat analysis, take a look at Steve Turley, two videos a day on YouTube. His main product is optimism. Maybe he’s fooling me but my impression is that he’s very smart.
