Trump won by a razor thin margin across a handful of counties in 2016. It’s not easily repeatable. I know many people who voted for him once but won’t do so again. The zeitgeist that existed in 2016 has already given way to an atmosphere that favors the left. I’d rather face the stark reality that were most likely going to lose, than to pump myself up on happy horse shit and have to face it all at once on election night.
