Roger ball has been called.
Good and green.
Q
I searched for ‘roger ball’ and found this. From Urban Dictionary:
TOP DEFINITION
roger ball
A flippant way to say “okay”. Instead of saying just roger, say roger ball to piss off your superiors.
Had to google “roger ball” but am only getting a Scottish saxophonist and some professors. FRens?

I’d posted a speculation that Trump would make the Roger ball call(acknowledgement) on Sunday. I was off by a day is all ;-)

In this case, I don’t think the UD definition applies. IMO It’s carrier pilot lingo to say they are landing.
“Roger ball” was explained by some of our resident naval aviators such as xone. Do a search on his comments on this thread or the previous one.
Also a book about dedicated Navy fliers determined to convince the Navy and politicians about improving the technology and equipment; can't see how that fits.
Also a a radio call connected with that mil video chasing that UFO off the coast of California. ???
I searched for roger ball ...

From xone yesterday -
The goal of every Naval Aviator anyway is to sound cool on the radio especially when stressed [so] extraneous words are omitted when possible. The response to call the ball’ assuming you can see it is roger ball or better rog ball.
From me now -
We can go over “call the ball” again if need be, but it’s in yesterday’s posts. Let us know if you need someone to narrow down the post numbers.
