I had a feeling that the idea of participation trophies would not end well!
Futurists used to write about the many different things people would do when we became wealthy enough that people didn't have to work so much and had more free time.
Would they garden, hike, go fishing, travel, continue their education to learn more of the world, to become more intelligent?
Now, thanks to the COVID19 Pandemic we see what many really do with free time - tear down civilization.

We are seeing the results of parenting that didn’t discipline, no spanking, no consequences for bad behavior.

What I don’t understand and NEVER hear Americans say is that the whole flippin’ world was part of the slave trade back when America was founded. Everyone. Canada as well. Everyone. It’s just the way things were back then. Native Canadians enslaved other tribes (whoever lost the battle). There are numerous countries today who STILL practice slavery. I thought that America was the 3rd nation to abolish the practice. That’s pretty good. Why do they let the narrative stand that gives the impression that America was the only country that used slave labor? Like the practice was started by you and for your purposes only? Grrrr. Makes me mad.

We did a great job on CoronaVirus, including the very early ban on China, Ventilator production, and Testing, which is by far the most, and best, in the World. We saved millions of U.S. lives.! Yet the Fake News refuses to acknowledge this in a positive way. But they do give....
