Since we will never see justice done in this world against the deep state for their crimes against humanity, name your favorite movies where justice gets served.
Yes.
I’m guessing that those movies wouldn’t be enjoyed by the majority here :-)
More exploitation than revenge but the revenge is quite sadistic
Montezuma’s Revenge.
Gladiator
The Winner by several football fields! Great movie exposing the Red Legs “justice” league of self appointed worst of the Union’s worst— who later were the dregs conducting the Indian Wars. They liked their work-— and there were not saints on any side.
Princess Bride
First Blood
Jaws
Karate Kid
Better off Dead
Carrie
Hang Em High
Munich
The Ten Commandments? ;-)
Law Abiding Citizen
Payback
Cape Fear (1962) Gregory Peck, Polly Bergen, Robert Mitchum.
Telly Savalas, Lori Martin.
After an 8 year prison term for rape and assault, Max Cady
(Mitchum) is set free. He immediately makes a beeline to Sam Bowden (Gregory Peck) the former prosecutor responsible for Cady’s conviction. Cady casually informs Sam that he intends to ‘pay back’ the attorney for those years behind bars.
This is the preferred version of Cape Fear, in my opinion.
The other version came out in 1991 with Robert deNiro in Mitchum’s role.
Revenge, Kevin Costner, Madeline Stowe, 1990
Underrated
Costner made a lot of crap movies, biut l like this along with No way out
52 Pickup
You’re right. Best revenge “movie” EVAH!
The Count of Monte Cristo.
The older movie “Sword of Gideon” is much better and not full of self-hating jewish platitudes and attitudes.
The elimination of the entire leadership and criminal team that massacred the Israeli olympic team in Munich.
Spielberg’s “Munich” is not bad, especially the part of the French former Maquis who are the “honor among thieves” of the arrangers and fixers of the Europe’s underworld. “Munich” is no where as satisfying as “Sword of Gideon”.
A lot of my old favorites haven’t aged well, Like the Death Wish series... They seem kind of trite to me now.
The Kill Bill series is still fairly ‘fresh’. Kinda surprised no one has mentioned it yet. Maybe because the ‘hero’ is a female?
Duncan Vizla, aka "the Black Kaiser", is an assassin, working for a company named Damocles.... In 14 days, upon reaching mandatory retirement on his 50th birthday, Vizla is set to receive half his pension, amounting to $8 million.
Mr. Blut, Damocles owner, intends to sell Damocles and is having all assassins approaching retirement killed by other Damocles operators, thus retaining their pension funds and inflating the company's value.
... Additionally, a Damocles contract clause stipulates that, should employees die without a will or named beneficiary, the company assumes all their assets. Vizla is the latest operative to be hunted down.
stars 'Great Actor' Mads Mikkelsen....One of my favorite bad guy actors...
Absence of malice.
Nobody here heard of Charles Bronson’s DEATH WISH?
Pathetic.
