I have a confession to make. I am sick…
…of coronavirus commercials. I in no way feel comforted by them, moved by them and I’m certainly not entertained by them. At the very least they make me want to change the channel. At worst they make me want to actively boycott the products.
I don’t want to see one more damn coronavirus commercial!
No more “We’re all in this together”…we are decidedly not. From celebrities doing Tik Toks from their palatial estates to Nancy Pelosi’s subzero freezer filled to the brim with expensive ice cream it has become increasingly clear that we are indeed not all in this together. Some of us are crammed into stale apartments. Some of us are isolated with our abusers or family addicts. Some of us are losing the businesses we worked our whole lives to build. Others of us are in mansions, still getting paid, still traveling, still going to parties, still going to private gym appointments. None of us are together, though. That’s kind of the whole point.
I don’t want to see one more damn celebrity sing-along over Zoom. In fact, I don’t want to see one more damn thing over Zoom, period!

I agree. They are driving me nuts. They are all over the radio too.
As soon as I see one being displayed, I hit the channel button. Do not care what the next channel is, either. The other things that bug me are:

“#WeGotThis[NameOfYourStateHere]”
Talk about empty displays of compassion...
We are definitely not in this together. Our Governor (Asterisk Inslee) continues to get paid while using “science and data” to destroy people’s livelihoods. Seems fair, doesn’t it? /s

I don’t watch broadcast/cable tv
I have only seen a few on youtube and tubi
If I hear one more time “ we are all in this together” I am going to just SCREAM!! I am sick to death of waiting in line everywhere to get into a store, I am sick to death of our stores being out of product, I am sick to death of our citizens running around in masks like we are living in CHINA!! I want my damn NORMAL life back, I want my damn NORMAL country back and NOT the damn NEW NORMAL!!
