Tech billionaire Elon Musk has called on the public to "take the red pill" in the latest signal he is tired of the liberal government in his home state of California.Musk, CEO of Tesla and Space-X, appeared to be urging his millions of followers to abandon leftism and embrace conservativism with his cryptic Sunday morning tweet.

It will be interesting to see if he addresses this in a follow up tweet or comment.
We complain about the billionaires against us.
It would be nice to have another on our side.
And the amount of blind, raw hate he is getting is predictable.
Now that he’s jacked the federal and CA, NV state governments for all the cash/subsidies he can, time to move on...
The old saying about a “liberal is only a Conservative who has NOT been mugged, yet” seems to have some validity, right?
Hopefully this will become quite common in the near future.
I hope they continue to pour out as much vile hatred as they can.....it certainly is an eye-opener into the world of the tolerant left.
If the staff at Jalopnik hated Elon Musk before, just you wait.
Ahhh... you get it.
AMEN! . . . and boot the rinos as well!
I lived in Manhattan when the saying “a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged was coined.” This was back in the 70’s and 80’s when muggings were common around manhattan—especially in the parks.
I don’t follow Musk closely. I don’t consider myself a fan — I really don’t have an opinion either way. But he does seem like a smart guy.
If he’s smart enough to see that a Great Awakening is coming and that the old New World Order is crumbling, then he’s smart enough to get out in front of it.
Economic nationalism. He's no conservative.
Im not sure about this guy. He says hes getting rid of his real estate holdings. People have interpreted that to mean he is moving from California to Texas as he has threatened to do. It would be hard to get the market price in a bubble if that bubble were to pop. Without a doubt that three-and-a-half-acres of his is overvalued in real terms. What if, though, Musk means what he says about property and is instead on the cusp of preaching socialism/communism, which has as a tenet the idea that we shouldnt own property? I mean it doesnt look to me like hes pulling out of China. Far from it.
Sounds good to me!
Fortunately, I have never set foot in NYC and don’t ever plan to. You have my deepest sympathy.
Hes still chugging along in Shanghai. I dont think the man is an economic nationalist.
He doesn’t need to be.
Not every position has to fall on a political spectrum. Some things just need to be self-evident.
Tesla is a scam, Space X is very very cool.
We are working on that new prisons about completed.
