The push is on for “touchless” functionality, and a lid that closes before the WC flushes itself.

How many people lower the toilet seat lid before flushing? One in 5,000? Yet I’m not aware of flushing-without-lowering ever being associated with the spread of disease. I’d go into more detail about the idiocy of this woman’s idea, but the rules of TMI prevent me from doing so.
