I have spent years with squat toilets, they are not a problem.
I prefer the ones the footprints and combo shower.
Not the ones with the elevated ring target.

Or clivus multrums. NYS got the bright idea of putting those in a welcome station on Route 81, entering from PA.
No aerosoles, but the stink can get pretty bad.

What about RV style toilets? You use a hose to wash out the bowl while opening a valve with a foot pedal. I would think less aerosolized material.
