Is there any scientist that wants to weigh in on why they might have pulled this off the market except to buy directly from them. It’s basically hand sanitizer for the nose

It could be a marketing financial reason they pulled it.

Just wondered if there is a medical reason.

I used to use these and I thought they worked but didnt use them often due to worrying about damaging my nose.

Consdering doing it again when I go out. I still have some I got free from Walgreens promo but probably expired by now.

This is from the French HCQ guy, I believe. I hope he’s right!

Coronavirus: “There is nowhere a second wave”, according to Didier Raoult

Professor Didier Raoult, infectiologist and professor of microbiology, believes that “the epidemic is ending”, without a second wave.

Paul Turban
Journalist

PUBLISHED ON 5/13/2020 AT 2:00 P.M. UPDATED ON 14/05/2020 AT 10:51

“The epidemic is ending.” The verdict is final, and argued. This Tuesday, May 12, in a video intervention on YouTube, Professor Didier Raoult, infectiologist and professor of microbiology, delivered his last analysis of the epidemic of new coronavirus. “Nowhere is there a second wave, or a camel’s back , it’s the common curve,” said Didier Raoult .

“There will be a few sporadic cases that will appear here or there , possibly if there is someone super contagious, there will be a few cases around him, according to the infectious disease specialist . But that no longer reflects an epidemic dynamic . epidemic is ending. “

“Everywhere, things are stopping, explains the infectious disease specialist, whether it is detected cases, hospitalized cases, hospitalized cases in intensive care ..., estimated Professor Raoult. The dead, it will be longer because unfortunately there will be a few dead who are currently in intensive care who will appear. But we can see that this episode is being resolved . “

this article is impressive to me and dovetails with Medcram’s new video. If you learn anything about that PatchMD patch after you try it out let us know.

I am considering ordering it because it has NAC and glutathione.

At the very least, if I go to the ER I am taking this article..pointing to the patients listed therein.. and asking for GSH/ROS test

This is exciting! Sounds like the ideal mixture to have to prevent going to the hospital is NAC (to increase glutathione), alpha lipoic acid (to chelate iron from damaged erythrocytes as well as to increase glutathione), SOD (to reduce super oxide free radicals), zinc (to increase ADAMTS13 to reduce von Willebrand Factors), and vitamin D (especially if dark complexioned since they tend to have D deficiency). Plant-based diet, incidentally, reduces von Willebrand Factors while increasing Nitric Oxide production by reducing TMAO and increasing vitamin K, which helps reduce calcium plaque build-up in blood vessels (which is why I’m opposed to vitamin K antagonists for blood thinning.) Selenium is key, too. I noticed no mention of the third receptor to which the spikes allegedly attach to: HSPA5, which gets expressed during heat stress and other stresses. Here, it would appear as though soy, fava, cinnamon, mushrooms, green olives, coffee (yes, coffee!) etc. based on a molecular docking program.

They came quickly. Difficult to believe they fit all this in one patch:

Vitamin C - 500mg
Riboflavin - 20mg
Magnesium - 2mg Molybedenum - 50mcg
***************************** L-Glutahione - 500mg
N-Acetl Cysteine - 600mg
Coenzyme Q10 - 1,000mg
PQQ - 25mg

Patch sticks well without any irritation. Suppose to be good for 8 hrs. 24 hrs dosing will make it a bit pricey.

I've looked at NAC for our work as well as glutathione. This is definitely one of the items we want in our IRB because of patient vulnerability and compliance. I was unaware of it before COVID. I wish they could put Pantethine into a patch.

are you going to be doing any blood tests to determine if it actually raises your levels?

it would be too expensive for normal circumstances but if I got sick I wouldnt hesitate

Do you have a link? I would be forever indebted.

Going to try to have the blood work added to the other tests for my current problem. It would be nice to get the metabolomics for both the oral and patch to determine the GI issues related to each. We know Pantethine converts (mostly) in the intestinal lumina to cysteamine and pantothenic acid (via pantetheine hydrolase). A patch would bypass that process and lower the dosing.

A quarter of COVID-19 patients who have died in hospitals in England had diabetes, according to official figures.

For the first time, NHS England has published a breakdown of deaths by pre-existing conditions. Only five per cent of victims didn’t have an underlying issue.

Of the 22,332 patients who died since March 31, when pre-existing conditions began to be reported, some 5,873 (26 per cent) of patients had diabetes.

Canadian-approved N95 mask targeted by Chinese counterfeiters

Cases show a flood of dangerous and deceptively-labelled masks is pouring out of China

A Chinese-made mask approved by Health Canada is the subject of a counterfeit warning issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the U.S.

The Associated Press has reported that counterfeit masks, intended to mimic medical-grade N95 masks made by the Shanghai Dasheng company and approved for use in Canada, already have been distributed to front-line medical staff at some U.S. hospitals.

And a separate Chinese mask maker also licensed by Health Canada has seen its approval pulled by the Food and Drug Administration in the United States.

The Guangdong Golden Leaves Technology Development Co. Ltd. was one of 65 Chinese manufacturers whose authorization to sell in the U.S. was withdrawn following tests by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

The manufacturer remains approved in Canada, but its product has not been distributed to health care workers here, a spokesperson for Public Services and Procurement Canada told CBC News.

Both cases illustrate the difficulties faced by governments in trying to procure reliable masks when a flood of fake, shoddy and deceptively-labelled products is pouring out of China.

Fake numbers proliferating

All masks approved for use in U.S. hospitals must have a Testing and Certification (TC) number issued by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The CDC has warned that the TC number issued to the Shanghai Dasheng Co. for its masks — TC 84A-4329 — has been misappropriated by other Chinese makers seeking to sell substandard products in the U.S. market.

U.S. government agencies like the National Park Service have been warning their workers to watch out for the fake masks.

Health Canada approved Shanghai Dasheng’s DTC3X N95 masks by interim order on April 27. That interim order process has been used during the pandemic to fast-track approval of medical devices for use in Canada.

West Virginia distributed 50,000 fake DTC3X masks to first responders — and kept them in use after the CDC warned the state they might be counterfeit, and after the real Shanghai Dasheng Co. warned that its products were being faked.

CBC News has asked Health Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada about the masks, but has not yet received an answer.
