As a result of the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent economic ramifications, the food agency found an additional 130 million people could be on the brink of starvation by the end of the year. The working poor would be hit the hardest as a result of the decline in tourism and exports, collapse of oil prices and any declines to foreign aid.
The resulting death toll could outpace that of the coronavirus with 300,000 people dying due to starvation every day over a three-month period, the agency reported.

Well, the Ministry of Truth got us all some free money, maybe next we all get a free bag of groceries. It’ll go about as far as the money will. Then what?

The UNs WHO helped make this future happen by overhyping the virus after underhyping it.
They never talked about antibody tests being needed to truly understand the seriousness of the virus. Their proxies took that and ran, making COVID-19 worse than a zombie pandemic in which 100% die and become zombies in a day.

I wonder if we will see food riots? If people see shortages in stores they could start to panic.
See post 14.

By intentionally fomenting panic to get Orange Man Bad, the leftist and media scum may well have initiated a holodomor the likes of which the world has never seen. If so, they are war criminals as far as I’m concerned.

after the possibly believable goal of "flattening the curve" so we wouldn't overwhelm the hospitals, everything they have done has destroyed millions of lives and their health and please don't tell me that TPTB really gave a dang about some frail demented 87yro dying because THEY DON'T CARE at all....
so millions starving?...just part of the plan....and the ends justify the means...

See my tagline. IMO, the actions taken were not commensurate with the threat.

The WHO/UN -sponsored shutdown will be the reason for any famine -- good time to rid our world of the UN.

Apparently the interminable plague of locusts denuding vast swaths of vital food crops in East Africa and on beyond, is invisible to the naked eye. If it isnt about our own economic woes and frustrations with the virus, it doesnt count.

As I have said for many years, it is not the closing scene of “Soylent Green” that will prove to be prophetic, but rather the opening scene .. the scene with mobs rioting in the streets for lack of food.

I saw that movie. Just the thought about what they were doing, just about made me rrraalllpppphhh. Where I live, the next few weeks might not be real pleasant. The people have no safety net. If they cant wheel and deal, they cant put food on the table. 👎 As my friend said, hungry people are angry people.
