For months, we were told by the experts that the Amish were so “off-the-grid” and old-fashioned that there was no chance they would ever vote.
That changed in November of 2016 when Amish PAC defied the odds, turning out Amish voters for Trump which helped him win Pennsylvania and pass the magic number of 270 electoral votes. We truly shocked the political world.
The story of how we pulled this off starts in November of 2016.
In preparation for Election Day, we put out a call for volunteers and hundreds of them streamed in to Lancaster, PA from all over the country. Pennsylvania has about 100,000 Amish voters and most of them live in the Lancaster area.
The media, including Fox News watched closely to see if we could pull off something that so many thought was impossible.
The volunteers arrived all ready to drive Amish voters to the polls since Amish buggies are slower and unreliable.
On that cold November morning, the Amish PAC team handed each volunteer a list of 10 addresses and a gas card before turning them loose.
By early afternoon, our volunteer army had knocked on the door of EVERY registered Amish voter in Lancaster. We literally ran out of names and homes. We knew we were making a difference. Polling places were telling reporters they were seeing unprecedented Amish voter turnout.
The donations we received unlocked Amish votes who otherwise would’ve not voted.
In addition to the volunteers we recruited and coordinated, Amish PAC strategically placed rural billboards to register Amish voters and remind them of Election Day. The billboards only cost a fraction of what a Fox News TV commercial costs, giving our donors a great bang for their buck.
Now we're gearing up to turn out the Amish vote again in 2020. But we can only do it if you help us.
We've already started registering new Amish voters for the 2020 election. The Amish are coming around to voting and it’s becoming more accepted than ever in their community.
We even put billboards up all around Amish country. Here's what they look like:

Was it even him? I never thought of that, but you're right, they could put anybody behind the mask.
However, in the video I saw, he seemed to walk slowly & teetering and didn’t get in the vehicle door that was held open for him as if he was confused. He walked to the other side of the vehicle. He looked lost, but it could be that somebody called him over to that side.
