When we lived in Corpus, the only time I wore a coat was when I took my son to play hockey. It was so nice and cool in the building.

Yea, it would be bad. Grands are disappointed I cant come over. Picked up some glass. Little pieces all over the room. I’m not complaining, could have been worse.
I know, I moved here because of some of my clan. But at my age I just can’t handle the heat anymore.
They are opening the public swimming pool here this weekend. Limiting number of kids and social distancing. Good luck with that.
LOL it's so seldom you hear or read someone saying they love cold weather. I'm the same way, but without the snow. I found the perfect place and have been here for over 30 years. The bad part is it's on the left coast. I live in northern California above San Francisco on the coast, and believe me when I say if it hits 70 degrees any time during the year we think we're having a heat wave. It' a georgous area, but can get a tad nippy.
Well, that's a start. But to be honest, I would hesitate to go to a public swimming pool under normal conditions - before Wuhan Virus. If they can open public swimming pools, seems like they can open anything, but that's just my opinion.
People are idiots - My kid's batting coach said he was doing batting lessons the other day & a guy at a nearby field was practicing softball. They guy hit a ball close to the cages. And a kid waiting for his lesson walked over to throw the ball back. The kid's dad started screaming "Don't touch that ball!!!!" And then sanitized his kid.

My daughter let’s her kids swim in the lake, which is not clean. The kids have a YMCA membership so we take them there.

Yes we grew up swimming in a lake & public pools too. I even taught my kids how to swim at a public pool, since I personally don’t have one.
My kids still go in the ocean - 1 of them yesterday - and there are plenty of surfers every day who are still alive.
I guess we all survived & are no worse for the wear.

Yes, I swam in the ocean as a kid, lakes and rivers too. But they are cleaner in California and Oregon. The rivers don’t run so lake is dirty too. I wouldn’t eat a fish from it.
Maybe he hired Rove to do the complete OPPOSITE of what Rove suggests.
