The buffet style restaurant I got sick from at a basketball game....people at the hospital all said they loved the place and go there a lot. I told them we've eatten there every time we come to the sectional there in their town. It wasn't a couple of months a family member was in Seymour and saw that this well know restaurant had shut its doors. I can not eat off of a buffet style restaurant. (especially salad makings)

When I cut an onion for cooking I have a Mason jar in front of me and as soon as I have what I need for the meal I immediately put the left over after cutting...into the jar and close the top as soon as possible. I even bought tin tops for Mason jars so the smell of the onion or other items won't stay on the lid as they do a rubber lined Mason top.

. I hope I'm making sense. I can keep an onion for a week inside this jar and quickly get cutting out through the week. Its very convenient.

My husband has written to them asking why people who aren't able to get out and have problems are being penalized ..several items on line will say...in store only. Not for on line orders...toilet paper,Lysol spray,wipes,towel paper...He did finally get towel paper today with our pick up order. A first! They do substitute an item brand name..even if its a higher priced one..for something we've ordered.

You don't pay for the groceries until all is agreed on their in the parking lot. I haven't been able to buy ground chuck since ordering on line either..that's why we buy Schwan's and Cajun meat patties. I've only bought Schwan's chicken for years..other then a carryout.

Tweety, they are really beautiful work and very sturdy! I have over 50 clay pots from a yard sale over 30 years ago...on the deck. And they will be perfect for sitting on the trays and the water won't drip on the floor. I'll put something under the pots just in case I over water by mistake. I have a list here on my desk of plants good to have for better breathing...Its here somewhere. LOL And I plan to buy these plants and put them out on the porch. The S hook comes with each hanger. The one two hook hanger is where I hang my upside down Christmas tree.

That’s too bad. I ordered online a few times after my surgery and didn’t have those problems. But during this I’ve gone to store. Lots of employees are filling online orders.
Hopefully things will improve where you are soon so you can go back to shopping. What store is it you’re talking about? Have you complained to corporate?

We had a woman my boss hired as a marketing manager. She told him before he hired her, that in 3 weeks she needed 2 weeks off to go to her daughter’s wedding in London.
So, she goes to the wedding and my boss says to pay her advance vacation pay. I told him that wasn’t too smart, but he was the boss. She comes back, worked for a couple days, then made up a reason to get mad and walk out of the job. I witnessed it. She filed for unemployment, and I told them what happened, but they still gave her unemployment! That woman scored!

Kroger's and they pretty much have a monopoly here. They ran out our small grocery stores and two of our larger ones. Once they left they went up with their prices...but later tonight I just might write as you suggested. Tks.

I remember seeing in the movie The Help, the character Abeline said to hold a kitchen match between your teeth while cutting onion and you wont tear up. Makes sense to me, and of course it is an UNLIT match ;-) LOL
