Postal Service to review package delivery fees as Trump influence grows

But recent developments show that Trumps efforts to reshape the USPS are gaining traction. Every member of the agencys bipartisan governing board is a Trump appointee. Democratic vice chairman David Williams resigned April 30, fed up with Trumps approach to the agency, according to people familiar with his thinking.
And last week, the panel announced that it has tapped Louis DeJoy, the finance chairman of the 2020 Republican National Convention, as the new postmaster general.
Also, Deputy Postmaster General Ronald A. Stroman submitted his resignation on May 8. Stroman had years of experience working with congressional Democrats and had become the agency point man on vote-by-mail initiatives for the November election. Stroman did not respond to a request for comment.
The postmaster general and deputy postmaster general also sit on the board, but do not vote on postal rates or personnel matters. Trump and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin have sought to attach terms to a $10 billion emergency loan to the USPS that would allow the administration to dictate package prices, review and alter bulk-discount contracts known as negotiated service agreements (NSAs), appoint the next postmaster general and direct negotiations with labor unions.
He better get his act together..if I’m not mistaken Oregan has 30 sanctuary counties. If the law comes down on federal money Oregan could be in some big dodo.
I’ve already signed the recall petition for Brown. She’s the worst.
My sister's dog disappeared. Her poster had a picture of the dog, the dog's name, and answers to "Do you want something to eat?"
The dog came home on his own.
Lung cancer said a comment.
Praying for a good outcome. Hopefully this decision will open up Illinois and the other rogue states.
The company I worked for had to only take in New equipment. And one building was seized while there. I complained when they announced going there and they blew me off. I said we’ll never own anything because it’s all their land. We shipped large tv’s over and who knows what all. Lost it and still kept another building open. I said then they will still all our blueprints and equipment..as I said...they blew me off.

Clever! May be more true than we think. Spy equipment on the roof of building. So who would think to look there. Maybe those arent solar panels after all !
I heard that. Tks. Can we hope??? But with Linda involved they’ll be nothing on backing ISIS or ISIL. Because Linda’s hands are also dirty there.
I always wondered what the OBAMA'S built behind the West Wing of the White House in 2010 and beyond.
White House Big Dig wraps up, but the project remains shrouded in mystery
EXCERPT...
The White House Big Dig is finally wrapping up, but the Big Reveal is proving to be a pretty big letdown.
After nearly two years and $86 million worth of noisy and disruptive construction, the West Wing has emerged from its visual seclusion remarkably unchanged. And deep underground, whatever has been built there remains shrouded in mystery.
Plus, if you ask what the next phase is in this massive, four-year project, the official answer is "TBD" to be determined.
For starters, I'm one of many folks who spent most of our time in those days packing drawings and fixtures to send to China.
From what I've seen of the products sent FROM China since those days, all really needs done to "ship the manufacturing plants back to the U.S." is 1) Pack up the drawings and fixtures, 2) Turn off the lights and 3) Take the stuff under 1) back to the US along with any US advisors have been there.
There's also a step 4) Put the drawings from 1) in the OBSOLETE file, the fixtures in the scrap and tell your engineering department to release the new designs.
The Bad News: If the Chinese have copied the drawings (almost a certainty) they'll be back into (limited) production in a week or so.
The Really Bad News (for them): They'll still be pumping out the same (but now obsolete) items with ever more shabby/nonexistent quality control until nobody but the PLA will buy the junk. (And those items will go for paperweights or just wind up in the trash.)
#ReverseEngineeringSucks
#CentralPlanningReallyTrulySucks
I wonder if the companies that plan to return to America will still operate in China under another brandname?
