I think Amazon had a few deaths. Still, definitely very minute numbers for amount of employees.
Thanks , ma. Praying. Amen.
I sold my house several years ago before marrying. Each room had cherry hardwood floors with a different pattern. One room had flooring going diagonal. One room pattern started as a small square getting larger as the room got bigger. Beautiful floors. I miss that home.
This place ( you can click through the pictures) is about 3 miles from us. If it ever is put on the market I will check it out. Not buy...just be noisy. LOL
Good morning, lysie.
Wonderful breakfast and sure can use the Diet Coke, thanks.
Another cold morning. 29 degrees , but will be in the 60s later. Yippee!
Good morning,lysie!
Appreciate the breakfast this morning—especially the BACON!
Chilly 47 degrees here right down—woke up to the furnace running—on May 14th!!
The wind finally died down yesterday afternoon.
Should be in the mid-60s and sunny today. So far, the sun is coming up!
Thank you for making breakfast!
More sorting, organizing and discarding "stuff" in store for the day. Where the heck does it all come from? Sheesh!
Good morning to all on Day 60 of the National Shutdown.
Looking for a BOOM or two today.
Our US Flags are out.
So .Funny story. This morning I went outside to uncover a couple of flower pots that I was protecting from a frost. I hadnt been outside for even a minute when I felt something plop right on top of my head. A feeling of horror immediately flooded my body as I looked up and saw a big fat robin sitting on a branch 🙄🥴
I rushed back inside and asked G. if indeed I had been bombed. The first thing he said was I should thank that bird. Now were all even.
I should explain: You see, when we were teenagers, walking from my house to Tastee Freeze one summer day, G was hit by an UFP (unidentified flying poop) right on the top of his head 🤭
Over the last 45-50 years, I have recounted that story over and over again- each time laughing at his misfortune 😁 (I officially and publicly apologize here and now) As I stood with my back to him this morning as he tried to clean up the mess on my head, he sounded very sympathetic. Im not sure if Ill ever know, though, if he was secretly grinning.
So the official score is now: G 1. D 1. I dont wanna play this game anymore 🤨😉
So sorry for the lose of your dear cousin, MsB.
So sad.
Saying a little prayer for you and your family also that you may remain well as you minister to all those at your nursing home.
Take care, dear one.
Oh, I know this well.
We have made 3 moves in the last 14 years, and given away and thrown out a ton of stuff each time.
Last move was in late 2016, and still got rid of the equivalent of a box truck full of stuff.
Until the shutdown, we contributed items regularly to the local Veteran’s thrift store.
Have a pile ready waiting for them now!
I think it is important that we not burden our kids with “stuff” when we depart for Heaven. Been through my share of settling estates to make that my mantra.
Since I can’t take it with me, I try to see if someone else can benefit from the thing I have, but don’t have a present need for.
It is very freeing.
Less to dust and clean too.
Mrs. exit82 is on board with this philosophy also-—at long last!
So sorry. Prayers for family and friends.
Very funny, lysie.
I’m just glad you didn’t just happen to look up at that particular time.
Usually I give it to Thrift store, but the are all closed until ?????

Maria Bartiromo interviewed POTUS and will play segments this hour.
Things are finally opening up in DE and MD now, due to popular discontent.
If you go on your thrift’s Facebook page or call them, they might be taking donations soon.
Love the bird poop bombing story.
Do you realize how long it took G to train that bird?!! 😆
LOL
