Shame that all the deep staters wont be caught up in this one bust. But be assured others are soon to follow.
Pelosi Views Everything as an Opportunity and Wants Democrats to Push Through Relief Bill Without Too Much Conversation
On MSNBC, Pelosi made it known that she views everything as an opportunity. She also made it known she doesnt care about working with Republicans because its important for the Democrats to present their relief bill without too much conversation.
I had no idea that the Founding Fathers said that the Constitution and Congressional rules go out the window in the case of a virus pandemic.
While Pelosi tried to make it seem like the American people are her focus she let it slip that its all about crushing the Republicans.
After all, if you keep Americans on the government payroll theyll remain reliant on you.
She first said: I think when they see what we are doing and it will be big because the problem is big and the needs of the American people are big. That it will be more attention paid to what the Republicans are saying or doing and then a judgment can be made. But Im optimistic, always. I see everything as an opportunity. The bigger the challenge, the bigger the opportunity.
Then she followed up: Its important for us to put forth our bill now without too much conversation
We all know Pelosi is hungry for more power. Just last week she said she wanted a federal standard to reopen the country because God forbid you trust the states. You know, the American people and those in charge of said states who actually understand what the people of those states need and want:
Yelp holding your breath is probably not a good idea. OTOH there is a standardized form for the charges. An abridged form that will not give all the details. (It’s the long complete form that is presented to the presiding officer at time of trial. )
So if DG briefcase contained a thumb drive with the lists of defendants and charges named on it, a quick copy paste will create the immediate abridged form necessary for filing the charges.
Easily done by end of day.
I wonder if Krystal is on Barr’s list of treasonists b@stards.
Wasn’t he involved in some part of the scheme?
All that was left was for Obama to get into the act, which he promptly did via the leak of a private phone call between Obama and some unnamed people who had worked in his administration. In an article written by none other than Michael Isikoff, who had his own role in Russiagate as one of the first to write about the infamous Steele dossier, Obamas call conveys the ex-presidents opinions about the recent DOJ actions regarding the Flynn prosecution.
The last passage on the tape is fascinating, too. Obama says:
So I am hoping that all of you feel the same sense of urgency that I do. Whenever I campaign, Ive always said, Ah, this is the most important election. Especially obviously when I was on the ballot, that always feels like its the most important election. This one Im not on the ballot but I am pretty darn invested. We got to make this [a Democratic victory] happen.
Pretty darn invested well, thats certainly an understatement. Hes pretty darn invested indeed; seeking not just to protect his legacy, to be able to tell President Joe Biden what to do, to have Biden choose as aides and cabinet members the old Obama crew and implement the old Obama agenda (only carrying it further than Obama ever had time for), but also to protect himself from further revelations at the hands of Barr and Trump. If Biden is elected, all of the remaining investigations into Obamas role will be dropped like a radioactive potato.

Lots of changes with pictures.
Thanks.
Probably.
That one was in the Rose Garden as well. After the press conference ended, the two grinning conspirators were seen on camera on C-Span congratulating each other with an arm to shoulder sort-of-a-fist-bump.
It's time for virtual press conferences. If the Senators can have a committee meeting via internet, so can the White House Press Corps.

I have to wonder how many gummint jobs are going to be (objectively) considered as extraneous after all this manufactured panic dies down.
(I'd nominate most of the "experts" Inside the Beltway for the first to go, but that's JMHO.)
Supreme Court Begins Hearing On Trump’s Financial Records
As The Wall Street Journal notes, Trump has broken political norms by refusing to release his returns, but the Court will have to consider whether letting Democrats subpoena them will do more lasting damage to the countrys law and institutions. Specifically, Trump v. Mazars concerns whether House Democrats can subpoena the President’s financial records which Democrats claim are a Rosetta stone to a Russian money-laundering conspiracy, or something...
He refuses to turn over the tax returns, what does he have to hide? Financial Services Chairwoman Maxine Waters mused last May.
Then Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings wrote in a memo that his subpoena was necessary to investigate whether President Trump may have engaged in illegal conduct before and during his tenure in office.
Democrats later dressed up their subpoenas with fictitious legislative purposes which would be a perfect distraction right now as Obama and Biden fade:
The financial records could be a useful case study to learn about unsafe lending practices and money laundering as well as efforts by Russia and other foreign entities to influence the U.S. political process during and since the 2016 U.S. election, they wrote in court briefs.
As The Journal notes, D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Neomi Rao explained in her Mazars dissent:
Allowing the Committee to issue this subpoena for legislative purposes would turn Congress into a roving inquisition over a co-equal branch of government.
Medical records, private emails, cell phone logs - none of the Presidents personal papers would be out of Congresss reach.
Remember, Democrats have subpoenaed Mr. Trumps records despite no evidence of financial crimes, no evidence uncovered by a 3 year investigation by Robert Mueller of any Russian interference, and now new evidence that the entire farce was manufactured by rogue FBI officials (and maybe even Obama).
In short, as WSJ concludes, theres no legal precedent for the Democratic subpoenas.
And the Justices will have to consider the damage that upholding the subpoenas would do to the separation of powers that would outlive the Trump Presidency.
No matter what, we are sure Democrats will leverage the liberal media to make Trump (and his biased SCOTUS pals) seem as guilty of ‘something’ - besides, if he won’t release every record of his entire life “what is he hiding?”
But don’t hold your breath, a decision in these cases is expected by terms end in late June

Only 54% of Democrats Want Biden As Nominee
Joe Biden has the support of just over half of Democrats, although the vast majority still expect the former vice president to be their partys presidential nominee.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 54% of Likely Democratic Voters are satisfied with Biden as the Democrats 2020 nominee. Twenty-eight percent (28%) think the party should find someone else to be their nominee, while another 18% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The labor unions won’t like that.
