I place it in the center console of the car and wear the same mask each time.
Of course it’s 7-10 days between trips to the grocery store. And I go early in the morning before there are many customers and while the air is still fresh. And I don’t wear it for more than about an hour.
It can’t be that contaminated, and the virus should be inactivated after that many days anyway.
“I place it in the center console of the car and wear the same mask each time. It cant be that contaminated”
the dumbing down of America on display. Idiots wearing contaminated masks they think protects them because...well, it’s a mask and the TV told us to wear one.

Same here, we wear ours for a short time when going out, and then only in low-viron environments.
As to condition of our masks - they’re fine after 24 hours of dormancy, if not less, and they’ll be fine for many weeks, given our very low usage rate. Now if I worked in a high-viron environment, like a hospital, I’d have a whole different answer regarding the continued use of the same masks.
It’s really only the FluBros who claim that a single viron, after sitting on a doorknob for 17 days, will infect and kill them. People who study this virus understand where the threats are, and where they are not.
