How can this level of tyranny be justified for what is really just the flu? Even though this overblown Wuhan flu crisis isn’t over, just think of the next virus pandemic when some children might actually die. The media will clamor for another lockdown - politicians will react accordingly because they don’t want the blood of the children on their hands. They now have the blueprint for obtaining more socialism in the future.
This social distancing is not natural. Anything that involves widespread, sustained and significant deviations from natural human behavior will lead to terrible consequences. And whoever suggests this deviation is likely a leftist tyrant.

I'm not sure what the point of comparing COVID-19 mortalities is to those killed / died during Vietnam, other than to sensationalize COVID-19 mortalities at the expense of those that died during Vietnam.

It is lazy, on a normal year, more people are getting murdered than died in Vietnam. More people die of heart disease or cancer on a normal year than died from Vietnam.
CORRECTION: The number of Vietnamese killed was likely way higher than the number of Americans killed.

First your assumption: In other epidemics the assumed cases were counted — first you dont know this — second, small pox if pretty freaking obvious based on its presentation as is Polio, thirdly they did not necessarily have the ability to test to the level of sophistication we have at the moment — we SHOULD be more accurate, but are not...probably money driven

This is the difference between actually knowing what you are talking about and standing at bedside. The stroke study you are referring to are five case reports in the popular literature. The heart attacks? Almost every patient who goes into shock and sepsis and ARDS has an elevated sensitive Troponin which is classified by those who have no idea what they are talking about as Heart attacks.
Every case of ARDS can and usually does yield MOSF (multi-organ system failure) because shock of shocks, then lungs are not conveying sufficient amounts of oxygen to the organs that get damaged.
