CNN is a small channel of CNN worldwide, owned by CNN Worldwide, a unit of the WarnerMedia News & Sports division of AT&T’s WarnerMedia.

ATT and Warner are on auto-suck for China.

They are quite literally a cost center and not a revenue generator for AT&T. They are literally the public relations department for AT&T at Warner entertainment.
